If anyone knows of someone that will break a mithran rod for me for the opo crown quest, I would really appreciate it. I tried a couple ways myself, but honestly, I really hate fishing.

Send me a tell in-game and I will send a fresh rod. Thank you.

Fishing rods are harder to break nowadays. I can try break my Mithran rod, and the only place I know that can be done on the ferry. Do you know any higher level fishermen? I am only level 37><

I got one a bit ago, cost me 40k, but oh well. Just need the wyvern skull and giant fish bones. I tried everything for 2 days to break the one I had.

Mithran rod is one of the most durable rods in the game (outside of Lu Shang and Ebisu), it is certainly not easy to break. I am under the impression that breaking rods are easier in the past before they changed fishing to stop people fish botting... But Chinese saying "There is always a mountain taller." People who bot fishing find new ways to get around that.

If you need a skull, I can come help.

Yeah, one of the guides talked about that in addition to various ways to break rods.

The ease of breaking rods has more to do with your skill than anything else. Your fishing skill isn't high enough to target the the fish that will guarantee a break. While not impossible to break at your level, it will rarely occur. I'll break any rod you can give me (like a twig) for 10k.

Yeah, one of the guides talked about that.

I am hoping to get back soon, Ama, then I will get some people to help me finish up the crown quest so I can take a nice hot springs bath. Apparently I am offensive to certain mithran noses. ^^
