Problem is word doesn't spread far enough.

I pretty much got him pegged lol. There is no doubt that he'd do that same thing in a HNMLS. Lot item, get it and bail on the alliance, and then the play dumb backup plan.

"RDM who's played in Dynamis shell for YEARS trying to get Duelist Chapeau"
hat drops
VLAD LOTS AND WINS.
/p ><!!! ACCIDENT
*logs out*

"I d/ced and couldn't log in for the rest of the day".
"I was mini-account hacked and was forced logged upon item lot and they moved my character halfway to windurst(alliance was doing say.. Dynamis-Sandy) and also dropped my pearl."

"When I lotted by accident, my cursor lagged a bit and clicked on the hat instead."
The hat was the only thing in the treasure pool.

Yea Vladdy is both a thief and a deserter.

I should let him in my LS, let him lot everything, and just D2 him every single time. I wonder how long he'd keep coming around.
#29 Apr 15 2008 at 4:13 AM Rating: Decent
the problem is that he's gonna need someone to hold his hand to run somewhere!

cuz he dosn't know.

Yesterday he shouted for Zilart then shouted where is norg!

Send him a /t and tell him Norg is deep within the Temple of Uggalipeh. Wont need sneak/invis, etc. Since Zilart starts with Norg(and Z4 is in ToU), he will BELIEVE YOU and go to ToU.

To his defense, I am fairly sure, at least for now, it is not a bought account. That person did leveled up from lower level days.

I have known people like Vladster before; there were Vladsters, and they will be Vladsters. I have even know stories people ninja lotting a Ridill. It is just amazing what BS people pulls in this game.

You may now continue to post your bad experiences with Vladster. Smiley: smile

ô.o And have him put up with my dynamite personality and my tendencies to mass murder people when I'm pissed off? Do it! The LS needs another Dranbell for my scratching post.

One thing, there are indeed cases of mislotting. I personally did it once (nothing like RDM Af2 hat, it was a Salvage 25 piece -- somewhat valuable), and paid that guy a quite large chunk of gil. That guy actually became good friends of mine >_>.

People who do ninja lot should be D2ed ASAP. Most people who did Ninja lot usually DCed themselves; or if in Dynamis, they leave PT immediately so they cannot be D2ed but the item remains in treasure pool due to the way Dynamis lots work. It is sad that I wish there is a better solution to how Dynamis lotting works; anyway, the way lotting works is just a method, the true problem is not the method or the tool, it is always the person who uses it. Yet people find it easier to blame the methodology and tool instead of people.

It just seems people like to karma nuke when talking about honest mistakes (especially I am trying to take a lighter tone Smiley: rolleyes) or devil's advocate. It is usually pretty obvious who is really make a silly mistake or intentionally to do harm.

I am not a big fan of generalization, and I always try to make judgment call with at least considering the logic and ethics behind it. I only make this post because I considered I have enough evidence to present a case. I am not a fan of condemning people without some reason for that. And even people who are guilty deserves some right. Don't blame the wrong thing on the wrong person. For example, just because someone is a thief, it does not mean he is a botter.

Don't worry.

At least you're not karma camped in the job forums like I am. If I'm positive about anything, I get bombed and whms have sent me into exile apparently. :)

I do not personally have problem differing my opinion, and I always enjoy open discussion to heated debates to relaxed chit chat. Sniping someone in behind is just not my style. I do tend to reserve the karma nuke to hard to understand (lolWallofText) posts, abusive language, and misinformation. Some posters are quite emo and passionate (including myself), I have no problems with that; usually such posters do not post "you noob" type posts anyway.

Lot of these forums do tend to have "political correctness," even flame war KI has its own chat culture. Especially in Alla where you can nuke some posters without exposing yourself, some people (including myself to some degree) are aware of that yellow/red/green name you got on the left column. Right now, this thread just got sniper nuked (everyone gotten a rate down for some unknown reason), and that person does not even show who himself is. If you disagree, you should have balls to say it, admins are not going to delete your post easily.

Vladster has dinged 75 now, and recently been found to be logged into Ru'Avitau.

Too bad some LSes do not care his reputation or how he gets his gil, they will sell him Sky gear.

I saw with a ThickerThanWater pearl on today in Rolanberry on my mule.

He was shouting for Haku clusters, I tried to sell him once for about 100k over asking price but he didn't want it, oh well.
