Hello, I was a player for a while a few years back. I just recently got back into the game. I've gotten my WHM up to lvl 10 now finally.

So, is the Dunes still the place to go for leveling up once you hit 10? I finally made my way there last night and there was only 2 people there in the entire zone and they were AFK.

Just looking for a place to start leveling more. I wasn't sure if the game changed and now Dunes isnt the place to go. Hometown is Bastok.

I would also like to maybe find a linkshell as well. Hopefully one that lets low level and new people in. Im planning on being very active.

thanks for any info...

Dunes are still ok, but after 15, you no longer needed to be in there.

Take a look at: http://campsitarus.blogspot.com/

It will help.

I've actually done well 10-14/15 in Dangruf Wadi, on both mage and melee jobs.

XP per kill isn't that high, but you can kill everything in the far SW corner, 3 rooms, and get good XP/hr when you add up all the small XP/kill over time.

For WHM I used Meat Jerky and meleed with a club until about 14/15 there, then went and killed stuff around the Gusgen Mines entrance in Konschtat Highlands.

Hope this helps also.
