New Salvage LSFollow

#1 Sep 28 2007 at 7:39 AM Rating: Good
For anyone interested in seriously/consistently doing Salvage, I have formed a Salvage-Only LS (Remnants) that I will be running during selected days in the week.

I'm currently looking for a maximum of 10-12 people, a few of these spots which have been already filled, with a projected 3-4 runs per week. By no means do I need 12 people to do any given zone in Salvage, but this amount will assure that we have enough members to complete any zone either farming or Boss runs at all scheduled runs. Start time is anywhere from 8-9pm EST for these runs.

If you are interested in doing Salvage consistently, you have access, and your schedule can allow for it, send Balbanes a /tell ingame or reply to this thread. Any questions about lotting, actual Salvage days and such will be answered ingame. Thanks all!

Not sure if I am going to speak frankly, but I will try to give some opinion and advice here.

I am not sure if I should say anything, but I think Salvage is best done with 6-8 people. My experience is that with too many people (say 12), you will winded up have not enough cell for everyone and feeding too much TP to the boss, which puts a lot of pressure in healing. It is better also to have a more well armed person (and not have cells spread over a lot of people). A lot of times even with 7-8 people go, the groups I go with only like 2 people are allowed to touch the boss.

Setting the boss and number of people aside -- the 35 items can be very tedious (it is simply a fact), and you may see 30+ runs to look for a specific 35 item (I know some people go 40+ tries for their Morrigan 35 robe). You will really watch out who want what.
