Finally, Majorkusanagi is headed to that digital graveyard in the sky ne'er to return. I have had some good times with y'all and I will miss them, but it's time to move on. This has been a long time in the making, I can't remember the last time I logged in and it didn't feel like a chore. All you guys out there made it fun to punch in to my second job for a long time, but the game itself has worn thin. Good luck in all you guys do, and, who knows, maybe someday we'll all play together again... just not in ffxi lol.

Peace

Major is a great friend of mine. I don't know if you are joking or not, but I do
not like what you just said even that was meant to be a joke.

One more person I talk to gone. One less reason for me to continue to play too...

I need to send you an e-mail. If you want, just send me an e-mail on the ol' .mil account.

You should know by now that all I do is e-mail, yell at people, and surf the internet XD Speaking of which, I got a new Sergeant today; time to break him in. I just hope he's not as worthless as my last Sergeant... NCOs are so goddamned retarded.

Major has a new email now because he is no longer in the US Armed Force. Talk to me in game about the email address.

Not about to flame someone, but the comment in regards to my stuff wasn't really appreciated and is representative of the very reason why end game events became no fun. Not to mention I got quite a bit of it from in game. It's sickening how many people that asked that question: "Can I have your stuff?", especially since some of them were supposedly friends.

Turns out dealing with people in real life is more annoying than dealing with end game stuffs... I have considered returning, but I don't know if I can stomach being poor and redoing all those damn missions...

1) I would never refer to myself as "normal", so doing "normal" things hasn't ever really appealed to me.

2) I am only 24, and if I have one more God**** person refer to me as "sir" I am gonna have to castrate someone.

Life would not be interesting if you just follow what other people anyway :P.

If you want drama, excitement, and progress, you got to do something... a little different.

Don't really know you, but I have myself quit this game twice and returned back everytime. It took me two times of quitting and coming back to realize that sometimes a simple break from the game will help, whether it's a week or a couple of months.

FFXI is the kind of a game that gives back what you put into it. Most of the time it's how you treat the community and stick with your friends, and then sometimes it's just how much effort you put into doing the things that you haven't done before. These kinds of things made the game like exponentially fun the last time I came back, and I can honestly say that I believe I'll be with FFXI for at least a few more years still, even though I got four under my belt.

This is probably stuff you already heard or know though, but I like to ramble anyways. Because when I ramble, I get to work on my typing skills which can only benefit me in the future. Okay I'm shutting up now.. no.. really I am...

And if you do decide not to come back still..

Take it easy.

Okay, that's it.

The End.

I put in a request to get my character back, I'll be the poorest level 75 ever and will probably have to ask some of my friends to loan me some time and/or gil to get back to where I am of some use equipment wise. It'll be nice to get Major back, I put a lot of work into her with missions and merits and such. Of course there is no guarantee that they can even recover her. One thing I am not sure about is how to deal with people I told off if they're still around. I have a problem with telling people exactly what I think, whether positive or negative... I guess I'll figure that out if I even get my character back. It is funny though, very few people ever got on my nerves and generally I got along pretty well with people... then I met the High Level crew... most of them are good, and I like to think I was one of the good ones (in terms of friendliness, not skill necessarily), but there are some real bad apples out there that can ruin a gameplay experience. Sadly, though I shouldn't let them bother me, I did and it was a big cause into why I finally decided to quit. Then it hit me about 4 months after I deleted my character, I really just needed a break from those kinds of people... I didn't need to give all my stuff away and delete my character, and now I might be staring down the barrell of having to do CoP all over again...

SUMMARY FOR THOSE WHO HATE WALLS OF TEXT: I may be coming back, and will have a lot of work ahead if I do. Hopefully, however, when I get back into a position to help people again, I can continue to do what I did before I left, and what every high level should do (imho): Help the low levels and mentor them to be decent people to play with.
