First Meetings: (Hello!) (Nice to meet you.)Follow

Hello to all fellow adventurers on Cerberus =]

I'm new to the server(just transfered from another about a week or so ago) and I'd just like to introduce myself to everyone, and what better place than good ol' Allakhazam eh?

My name in-game is Megara: Tarutaru female, but I am, in fact, a male playing (please don't ask me why I choose taru female, it's been too long and I can't remember anymore =P)

Current jobs: lv 75 BLM, 37 WHM, and 37RDM, along with some underleveled jobs that I don't consider worth mentioning =\ haha.

I stopped playing about a year ago on another server, for a number of reasons including burning out with endgame LS's and events(and drama..), along with some of my closer LS buddies quitting the game, and some RL issues as well..

BUT after a year of not playing much of anything that could hold my attention for more than a few hours, I came to the realization that FFXI has been the only game that could keep me playing for hours, days, weeks, months, even up to a good solid year and a half. I tried WoW with some school mates, and didn't like it very much(personal preference i suppose). I tried GW, and I do give it some credit(it being free and all) but I burned out too quickly on that one as well.

So late one night, while playing CS:S, it hit me harder than a headshot: I miss the expansive and exploratory world of Vana'diel. The next morning, I reactivated my characters(after rejoicing that they were still there lol) and transfered to Cerberus for a brand new(sort of) start, a clean slate, and an opportunity for new adventures and friends.

A week in, but I'm still kind of rusty with my old skills and abilities.. so bear with me while I try to remember which MB goes with which SC, or how to get to camp.

I have no linkshell as I'm the only one(that I know of) from my old LS that's transfered here, and therefore I have no acquaintances. I'm not exactly looking to get into some endgame LS's right away, just a simple environment in which I can try to remember what my niche was before I left.

I apologize if this isn't the best place to do this, but I thought it would be better than shouting in Jeuno or Aht Urhgan Whitegate "(Hello!) I just transfered from another server, (nice to meet you)"

With all that being said, I just wanted to say Hello adventurers of Cerberus, I look forward to meeting you all (or as many of you as possible.. haha) =D

-Megara

P.S. don't hessitate to send a (/tell) =]. If you need me, you can usually find me at the top of some very high places soloing very large buffalo or blasting away at elementals (I know there are better places to solo, but I'm just working on remembering how to do everything, and I find these places to be somewhat nostalgic)

In before ClanDestine or Bladesingers LS recruitment :D
Welcome to Cerberus Megara, sounds like you'll fit in just fine here in Cerberus. Cerberus forums here are kind of boring though...
