Everyone wants to get them done, but more often that not the person who rushes ahead of their static ends up way behind since pickup groups for CoP are harder and harder to find the further you get into it.
I myself have encountered quite a few "CoP dramas"... Like people insist they don't want to wait, and beg their LS to help, and refuse to team up with people that are in near situation. Or they ditch their static group to another one they think is competent (and they did find they right group to "betray" to).
Often LSs will choose to have peace and let those beggars get their way, and winded up causing more time wasted. Or inter-player drama because their LS or whatever did not resolve the difference.
Things like that happen is a sign of weakness of LS or the group. That people care more about their own advancement and being an opportunist rather than the whole benefit of their LS.
From my few experience with you Furionstormrage... Mainly talking here. It does seem you have/had a rather tight group of friends and LS. It just seems there are less and less such people. People are becoming more impatient, and it is like the "Scramble of Vana'diel" to juice out what they can get in the least amount of time.
OP's LS is a really good LS. I don't think Mattea will ever have a problem getting off a decent and loyal static group ... (if there is someone willing to take the leadership role).

Art for the sake of art itself is an idle sentence.
Art for the sake of truth, for the sake of what is
beautiful and good — that is the creed I seek.
