beware of this player. he will act like your freind then borrow money from you and NEVER RETURN IT. he will tell you that he is going to give it back and act all nice but when it comes down to it this guy is scum. bar none.
he used to be with me on lakshmi, so much for good in game freinds. bleh

try 100k ****. i got screenies of all the notes saying he would pay me back. all dating from two to three months ago and even two weeks ago. would you like to see. i can host them on my web page. fact of the matter is when you loan a guy money and he puts you off for three months then moves to another server is just shady. and if you dont agree your flat out stupid. im sorry i dont buy gil and i need all the cash i can get. some players out there still earn a keep.

and secondly i would never make a death threat in real life or over a game. life is precious. besides salted lives in canada and i am in new york. and i know details about his life. its just shady to not pay people back for three months then jump servers. i wonder who else was *******

Lesson one: if you value virtual items/money in such a way that if you somehow lost it, it would be cataclysmic to your universe, then don't lend it out.
Lesson two: If you lend someone virtual currency, or a virtual item, or a virtual anything. and you somehow lost it, it's really not the end of the world. Because: IT IS JUST PIXELS ON A SCREEN!

gala your right. the money isnt the issue here however. its the fact that i helped somone in need and the favor was not returned. i do care about the cash, but i can make up the 100k. its the fact that i was put off and lied to for three months. a simple "no im not paying you" honest and straight up would have done. i hope you can see the logic in that
I can see the logic in it all right. However, I operate from the philosophy that I shouldn't really trust people (especially a virtually anonymous person that lies behind a video game character.)
Just like real life, there are many people who will stab you in the back and **** on you given the opportunity. If I trust someone, and end up getting burned, that's life. Deal with it, learn from it, and move on....

once again your right. im not trying to create drama. just trying warm people about this kind of behavior.
Not to play the "you should have known better" card, but... well, you know.
I'll just put it this way. If you lent out any amount of gil to someone you didn't know for sure would pay it back, you pretty much deserved to see it go bye-bye.

Thanx for the warning acuraCL, I'll keep an eye out for this "shady individual" when I return to the game at the end of this month.
I'm currently on about a 2 month leave of the game; being disgusted by loosing a substancially larger amount of gil and items to multiple close friends that I've known most from the the beginning of playing this game at the PS2 release. By either them up and just quitting the game or jumping severs like under your circumstances.
