Diabolos (avatar, not mission)Follow

Hello everyone,

I came back to the game recently. I quit near the end of last summer and was back briefly over Christmas break but I had to cancel my account again. I reactivated it a couple weeks ago and I've been getting back into the swing of things.

However in leveling my SMN (even though it's only 47) I find myself wishing I had Diabolos, both for completeness sake and for further down the road.

I've tried this fight twice.. once before I quit last summer, and once more recently (since I've come back). However we didn't get a single win either time.

I'm sorry to say that I don't know what's great for this fight or not--I've gone with regular parties both times, but someone told me you can still manaburn it? I'm not sure if that's true or not, though. I do have a pretty firm grasp of the strategy for a standard party setup, and I can Stun Nightmare...as long as my timer's up of course. But that hasn't worked so well so far. I'm not sure what to try.

Either way, I'd really like this avatar. The only job I can bring is my BLM (level 75).

I can't offer anything in the way of monetary compensation to anyone who would help, but you'd have my eternal gratitude. If you need it too, so much the better.

If you set a time in the NA evenings I can probably make it. I have never fought the avatar D but I know that if Nightmare lands you are pretty much finished. Lots of stunners, and/or a rdm/drk for fast cast stun is nice from what I've read.
I'm not certain what the pre-reqs are for the fight, but Im past D in CoP so I think I can do it.

Just a suggestion Mattea:


If you can do so, go Rdm/Drk for Chainspell Stun. This can be the deciding factor beweeen a win or a loss.
