just went to the AH for a scale mail only to fine it wasnt there, but too my suprise barely anything is actually there. I think something needs to be done about this as it hinders new players to only get the basic items because they cannot find, or cannot travel the long distance to get the armour they need!

Brunhilde (Bastok Markets) is an NPC that sells this armor. :)

If you have a mule in Bastok you could buy and send to your Sandy Character.

It is quite likely that due to the recent version update lots of people were focused on doing their missions and rank up quest.

It should even itself out and you should see more items on AH by this weekend. :)

All the low level stuff is sold in jeuno now...there's the idea that everyone has access there. And you don't have a lot of people lvling low level jobs anymore :(.

And you make a new character and place it in a city. That is what is called a mule.

Sorry I didn't explain further :( ~ A mule is a secondary character you create on your handle (You pay $1 more a month for having a mule), basically it's you but you on another character which you pay for. I have a mule in each of the main cities so I can buy items cheaper and/or sell items that I farm on my main character.
