I think when ToAU was released, SE developers had mentioned actually more FFXI expansion too. For people who do not know, SE actually released more than a few POL based online game, but nearly all of them is no where as successful as FFXI. More overly, there is actually another SE MMORPG -- Fantasy Earth: The Ring of Dominion, but that game is doing so bad that it got sold to another company (I think). Fantasy Earth is also JP only release.

Not all of ToAU content are done yet, and I think it will be completely released soon. May be in 2-3 more VUs. Tanaka (or Sage Sandi) also once said Salvage is not even ToAU's true end game content -- there are things they have yet to add.

I think it is all wait and see :3 EQ I expansions were still being made when EQ II was released. If there is a new SE MMORPG, I think we are at least talking about mid-2008 onwards :3
