Heya guys, I'd like to join your LS, if you're still accepting new members. I've been playing the game for years, with a few very long extended breaks. I've decided to come back, and really get back into the game. I left my RDM at 60 when I stopped playing, and also have retired it for the time being. I'm focusing all my effort on leveling Monk right now. The name is Faygo in game. :)

Send us an E-mail at the address on the site, and/or look for one of our Council members in game. Registering at the website really is one of the fastest ways, though. Our council people check the site daily even when we don't log into the game, and the formality of approval goes smoothest that way.

I'd just like to add, BS is possibly my favorite LS I've been a member of. I've quit a good amount of times and every single time I've been welcomed back with open arms. Also, despite our recent reconstruction and changes in leadership, the leaders have done an exceptional job recruiting members. Not in a quantity sense, but that when they add players they are high quality players.

Hiya Kil. Pretty much the rules listed at http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/wiki/Bladesingers/ are about as thorough as necessary. It all more or less boils down to "Don't be a jerk" and what Papi said. BS is mostly just a social shell, but we've been doing a lot of work towards making sure our members have the help they need to get missions done and stuff, mostly through people organizing stuff. We just got a bunch of people halfway to Sky Friday night and I'm looking to maybe do some CoP stuff soon. We have no attendance requirements as such, but if you're involved in an ongoing mission group (CoP for example) then we do like for people to honor those sort of commitments.
Basically what that means is that if I set up a CoP static in the LS (as I'm more or less planning on doing), and we meet on X day at X time, it'd be strongly encouraged to be there, or if something comes up try to let people know in advance or have good reasons. Missing stuff like that is more likely to lose your spot in that sort of static than to result in disciplinary stuff within the shell. We don't break many pearls, we prefer our LS to be as drama free as possible while maintaining a helpful, friendly environment.
