It doesn't make sense to generalize "what you've seen on this forum" without giving specific examples.

Please elaborate.

There is a reason for the OP NOT to be overly specific...

My opinion about the latest occurances in the boards:

Sometimes, everyone should step back a little bit, and think more carefully what people think (even he/she disagree what one may think).

If one is entitled to write one's belief/opinion in which some may precieve as "bad", then others are just as entitled to believe and voice what they believe is "bad". It is a fair game.

There are no universal definitation of "good" and "bad" -- that is simply a fact of real world. "Good" and "Bad" should be determined by the individual. A lot of cases, that definition may agree with a lot of people, but they are cases it will not. And that should be respected.

Free thought and speech as long as it is bound by Rule of Law are important keys to a democractic and free society. (Edit) If everyone dictates how everyone else should think, society will be really bland and actually unfree since thinking the otherwise is considered a herectic. (End of Edit)

{In reference to the original post}

Way to put up another negative post. That'll help "fix" things.

Don't like it don't read it, and damn sure don't post about it.

Negativity is like a vacuum that just sucks you in. No one's going to break this viewed negativity/BS that's going on if they don't stop f'n contributing to it. Do people realize how dumb you look when you ***** and moan about people doing the same.

I feel you Kmann. And to the thread's creator, I rather like this forum. I think it's intense, often funny, and frequently negative. But the posters seem to be relatively ok with their differing opinions. No one is afraid to disagree or flame. That's good. What kind of thread would it be if everyone was afraid to say what they thought. Ex. Post: "This forum sucks." Reply: "Well, I...um...some forums are cool. I'm not saying this one doesn't suck...but some don't. I don't think...right? I mean if you disagree, then so do I. Ok?" I mean c'mon. I guess you shouldn't view this forum anymore if it makes you sick. What kind of sickness is it, anyway? Is it like nausea? You know, it could be a lack of the "friendly bacteria" in your intestine. You may wanna check into that. I have no idea what I just said.

It was a statement. I wanted it known. My direction was most certainly felt towards those i wanted to see it, and i'm sorry i offended you for stating it. You know if it was directed at you or not. If you do not feel it was directed at you, then likely it was not directed at you. And i hope that those i directed this at heard it, and will listen. if not, well, life goes on. Maybe someday they'll learn, maybe not. But at least i attempted.
