If you low on gil and can't afford the Merc. Cpt. Gear, just buy the Cent. Gear and sell it in the AH. Last time I checked, you'll get relatively the same amount of gil to buy your full set of Merc. Cpt. Gear...Although I'm unsure of current AH prices. That's what I would do anyway ^^ Goodluck.
