Hateful people on this serverFollow

I thought I'd post here to tell about the most hateful person I've seen, and have anyone here who met someone you sould never trust or anything like that

Fayte
Greedy, all I can say about him, long story, but it goes like this

I met Fayte back when I was a level 13ish PLD, we became good friends and I helped when I could, later I gave him a pearl to my LS before I destoryed it (TheMystics)

Later on the LS grew thanks to Fayte, I did my part to help when I could, helped Fayte and a mithra by the name Dunia with RSE, helped Dunia with BRD AF1 and died, helped Meili - A WHM on the LS who's friend needed help with WHM AF1, helped a RNG with mission 3/3, etc...

Later on after my laptop's modem broke and I got the PS2 version, not too far after I got to level 42, we did an alliance for the airship pass mission, Fayte and Meili went on to kill the 2nd NM Quad, another WHM got me to the 2nd mute, later on I see the WHM running and a Emerald Quad by him, so we are fighting and I'm getting hit badly, so is the WHM, I ask the alliance to help, mainly Fayte and Meili because everyone else stayed behind for the other, after I use my 2H to give the WHM time to cure me since my MP was zapped, I get killed and the WHM runs to the zone with the magicite in it (I don't blame him for that). So I level down lost being able to equip my honor sword, Meili doesn't even come to raise me, after a JP WHM raises me and the WHM that tried to keep me alive comes back, we sneak to the spot they were... I don't even think those 2 moved.

Later on, about 2 weeks later after that, Fyate offers to help me try my luck with the airship pass again, so far the next morning when Fayte was gonna help, he was in PTs which I understood, but later that night after he's free, Dunia goes on about a mission or quest after I remind Fayte of his promise, the chat sorta went like this

Dunia: Fayte, want to do mission/a quest?
Fayte: Sure
Me: Can you help me with the airship first Fayte?
-Nothing-
Dunia: (Question about whatever they were doing)
Fayte: Not sure, never looked up anything on it
Me: Fayte, you were suppose to help me with the mission, remember
-Still no reply from Fayte on it-
Dunia: (Another question)
Fayte: (Reply to Dunia's question)
Me: *sigh* Nice to know at least SOMEONE keeps promises on this LS

I later get POed from this and level BST, mainly since I heard they needed to go through the pass in E. Sandy to see if Fayte was gonna say sorry or something like that since I removed my LS, he acts all nice thinking everything is okay, I later reply "Die for all I care on our stupid quest/mission", not the smartest thing to say, but I was ticked off, then we fight on my LS and he starts saying !@#$ about me being some greedy jerk, I later on get a pearl from a friend of mine to a new LS I later quit after an incident reguarding Fayte

Next day, LS seems dead, Fayte's on saying I'm greedy and now temping people to leave promising to help them with mission 5/1, about a week later, LS is dead, I destoryed the shell

His new LS is called "EternalDestiny" and I've seen past people from TheMystics I've helped with this, mainly Meili and Dunia, which I hope get the point that I don't want anything to do with them if they're going to fall for Fayte's "tricks"

Later on not too long ago about a week or 2, Fayte's spreading rumors about me being this "sad excuse for a PLD" saying I get my PTs killed, he gets so many tells about me sucking, etc.

I know a few ppl out there who also had problems with Fayte, here's a quick one when I did RSE for a Taru friend of mine

Like I said I was helping a Taru on my LS with his RSE, so after I'm in the maze waiting on Fayte and Dunia, after they show up we start farming for a key, after we get one the Taru says he already had one, so Fayte let Dunia have it, later on the WHM gets bored and Fayte, Dunia and me are still trying to get Fayte a key, no luck, Taru dies looking for the chest, chews Fayte out and leaves, I thought this was a mistake since we never DID plan if we were gonna get keys first or what, but after I get more info on why the Taru got POed at Fayte and left my LS, I understand why

Apperntly, the Taru bought arrows for him so he could come, with his own gil, later on he somehow owed Fayte and had to help with his RSE, which started a huge fight

Other things I've seen Fayte do

He asked me when I wasn't even 45 to help with his AF in the Citadel

He asked Meili at level 33 to help, she somehow got talked into it

Well, that's it for the worst player I seen on our server

My guess, he got full AF like he wanted, asking people that low of a level like Meili and me were is one of the dumbest things you can do. Here's another I'd like to point out

Mabey he did, mabey he didn't. all I know about that was at the time there was a lot of spam on my chat (Didn't have anything filtered so I could tell when the mob was going to do ancient magic if it was a Tomb Mage) mabey I was wrong, but the least he could have done was come back to get us

I personaly can't remember who and what was in my PT except the WAR/RDM since they were the one that saved us, but I'm sorry for whatever this DRK did, so I'll just edit the post about him now since I know the reason for his actions now

But the stuff about Fayte, that's pretty much true

Fayte's always been pretty nice to me. Helped me with missions and stuff, and with carbuncle Mitts.

Maybe you just try to be a thorn in his side?

I'm a nobody - and to most a n00b - but I wanted to say two things -- First, that I know Derufin and Minime(albeit not well), and have to say that hands down, they are among the FEW really helpful folks I've met on Cerberus!

Second - S'cuse me for a small rant - I am NOT 14 or even close... more like twice the legal drinking age - I got turned on to this game (previously was NOT a gamer at all) by my son and bought my own copy in June 2004 - I have never played before, and thus am hugely ignorant - I admit it...

What I want all you sage players to remember, is that once you too WERE new to the game -- don't assume that all n00bs are idiots... Cut us some slack... or at least me and Nivlem - We're in this for the long haul - we aspire to be great adventurers like some of those we've encountered on Cerberus!

Okay, small rant over...

I'm THOROUGHLY addicted to this game and play every spare moment I get - mostly between 7-10 Mon-Thu and later Fri and loooooong on Saturdays ... Pacific time... Hope to meet more good folks in our wanders!

To Derufin and Minime - illegitimus non carborundum!!! You both ROCK!!!

It's good to see someone else "about that age," Tunie! LOL

i.e. Someone that doesn't have the mindset of "let's go from level 1 to 75 over the weekend," and sees the game for what it is: a way to enjoy yourself and have fun.

I am a friend of Aceroth's first off that whole tidbit about beating his wife .. um no not really you prbably heard this from Magikka but w/e and secondly Stormdune is good friend of Ace's she has a pet name for all, Storm and Reko have been on the LS at the same time. Get your facts right next time.

Wow. Aceroth was the husband of one of the co-leaders of one of my linkshells, called XIWarriors (I'll not disclose the name, just for privacy), and I had no idea he beat her. I also happen to know Reko, and that is AWFUL of him! It sort of reminded me of the time when he was a ******* and wouldn't help me with my Summoner quest.... Grrr. Luckily, the ACTUAL leader of XIWarriors helped me with it (again, name not disclosed) and he is such a nice guy ^_^ He did seem like a HUGE jerk when I met him, and it's awful that he's cheating on Reko... /slap him in-game when you see him for me ok?

That's not what why I said that stuff to Fayte, I said it to him because he said he'd help me the next day, when he was free, I tried to remind him about it, he never replied, but when Dunia wanted him (if you haven't figured it out yet, Fayte's a guy IRL) to help with a quest, it seems funny he'd reply to Dunia, but after I tried to remind him 2-4 times, and ignores me, I got steamed off, I'm not saying he should just go and drop something to help me, but the least he could have done is reply to my reminders
