Ok, this was the only way I could get a hold of everyone and draw out my diagram and talk to everyone at once. ^^

Nebz, how's it coming along on getting RDM to 20? I think we will be ungodly with RDM and BRD. Mage's Ballad + Refresh = delicious.

Ok, now to my reason for this post. I was thinking this is how we should set up for my songs.

Junpei Nebz
	MOB	Naltherion	Orikenus
Xaicu Neera

This would be easier to only get the ones that need Ballad and the ones that need Minuet or Madrigal or Minne.

The other reason I'm posting this is because, well, I'm excited to get this started. Smiley: lol

I got my WHM to lvl 12 last night. BRD is still level 12. I would like to get WHM to at least level 15, so I could sub that until level 30 BRD before I have to go back and level it again. But that's my update. I have a good bit of work to do.

Hey Orik,
I am also excited to get this SP rolling, check out my BLM profile and see if you have any suggestions.

I am in the process of trying to get the Morion Tathlum for LV 25 (stupid NM camping) and also Garrison Boots and Gloves and maybe the Mages Slacks, but that will take a lot of time/gil, lol.

My WHM is leveled to 28 so I don't have to worry about my sub for a while.

We will have a blast.^^

As far as I can tell, that's very good equipment at that level. I guess I have no suggestions. ^^

My RDM is a few hundred points from level 19. I plan on toughing that out in qufim rather than pugils and gobs in the n00bs errr dunes I mean... the dunes...

Right now, I'm planning on spending today farming some NM's... hopefully get myself a Lantern Shield, else I'll have to buckle and buy one I guess. :-\. My question is should I get melee gear? Do you guys want me fighting at all? or pure healer? I was thinking of getting a longsword or a small sword, but if you don't want me to fight, there's not much sense upgrading my weapon, let along getting a +5 attack shield that sells for 40k. Personally, I don't mind questing/hunting/farming for these items, and infact, I had intended on doing so. However, if melee power is nothing you desire from this taru... I guess I'll carry the gear for show and tell ^.^

EDIT:
Also, I'm forced to take my vacation time this week. There's a new policy enforced as of last Friday where the time off is handled differently. Being that the policy was enstated on my anniversary month, the policies new time off days would have wiped out my unused vacation days from the first of this year. Therefore, as of a day previous to the new policy, I have put in a vacation request form ^.^ I'm off the greater majority of this week. This week is a very rough week as things in my department are changing next week and this week must be used to prepare for those changes. Since I am running my show, I must be there this week for my part of the changes. So yippie... I get to go to work on my forced vacation days :-\

Wow. That second part blows. Smiley: frown Sorry about that.

As for melee, I'm not sure that will be too good of an idea. I mean, we have no other healer type except myself and Neera. I won't have that much MP being elvaan and having WHM subbed (I will be using pumpkin pies though). Neera will be nuking and won't be able to keep full focus on our health.

I feel bad saying it won't be a good idea to melee, because it sounded like you were looking forward to it. Smiley: frown

Krem-

My feelings (and the way I played my RDM) on RDM melee is as follows:

As long as you can melee and keep up with all the healing, buffing and debuffing we need you to do, then by all means melee. The only time I can think that I'd like to NOT see my taru friend meleeing would be in the case of a mob with a high dmg AoE.

Orik-

My thoughts on pt formation:

As long as I can hit my Sneak Attack, I'm happy. After 30, as long as I can hit SATA, I'm happy.

Now that I'm back from the hospital I'll be able to get NIN unlocked and leveled in fairly short order. I was going to ask if you guys rather I subbed RNG, but frankly, the appeal of dual-wield is too much to pass up. :D

My rice balls are 158, couple more farming trips to Giddeus and I'll be all set. The way things are going, I probably won't be able to get my boots and hairpin before lvl 30, we'll just have to see. Those are somewhat luxuries at this point... this is one of those times I wish I hadn't changed servers ><

Well, my RDM is 20 now. I got a pretty nice party in Qufim this evening and got up to about ½ way to level 21. I'm stopped there and waiting for further info. Till then, I think I'll be working on my blm err bst errr something. :-\

For the record, Behemoth's Dominion Gayla's are more than just 35-36. Considering Lesser Gayla's are the same level as lower level seige bats (from Garlaige), and Greaters are the same level as the higher level seige bats (also from Garlaige), I would draw a conclusion that you could get good exp on these bats from 32 up to about 38 when the exp starts dropping off.

And here I thought I was going to have to wait all day to see a reply to this.

I've never been to Behemoth's Dominion, but I'd like to go. The beauty of an SP is never having to worry about finding party members, which opens up many more levelling options.

Nice chart Junpei,
I have been to some of these places to level myself and they were wonderful.

I remember in particular when I was LV18 WHM (or BLM, can't remember) and got invited into a JP pt (all rank 7-10).
When I asked where we were going the answer was Batallia Downs o.O

Until then Batallia had been one of those "dangerous" places to me that I had never even considered in my leveling grounds.
But I said what the heck, they are gonna know what they're doing. And I was right.
XP just rolled in like crazy and everybody leveled twice^^ before one of the members had to leave and of course the whole pt disbanded (still don't know why they tend to avoid replacing ppl).

Anyway, just a fond memory of mine, lol

Thanks Neera, I just loathe the 'accepted' levelling zones, and if I can find places that I can XP in that I've neer been to before, then even better.

Plus, fighting gobs and orcs always means gil and items. :D

I got ninja unlocked Sunday, it's currently lvl 4. I should be able to get it to at least 15 if not 20 by the time we're ready to SP.

Speaking of, Naltherion got his connection back as of last night, and Xaicu has moved, I'm just waiting to get her schedule from her. So once I have that, I can start coming to each of you to figure out when is good.

As for me, Friday and Saturday nights, and Sunday anytime are good for me. I don't have a life :D

Yay,
gratz on NIN. Looks like we're going to be ready to roll soon.
I can't wait^^.

As for availability I'm pretty flexible.
Just tell me what times are good for everybody else and I will schedule accordingly.

P.S. If you want a little boost with NIN, I'll gladly PL you with my WHM a bit.
But on the other hand NIN was very fast to level for me when I started. Should be a blast.
I'll help you with the NIN scroll quests for Norg as well if you like once you get to level 9 or 12.

my schedule is mainly 6pm PST - 12am PST... which is about 9pm EST - 3am EST. Of course, I'm sure partying for the full 6 hrs will be rather difficult, but even a few hours each night should still be enough for a level a night in the beginning. The weekends usually vary. I play till I crash out, sleep till I awake, and rinse and repeat... I have no set availability schedule for the weekend, and I like keeping it that way. However, if you would like to plan for weekend events, later in the afternoon works the best. I usually sleep 4-5am till 2-4pm on the weekends.

My times are as I said flexible, but here is when I'm usually online:

Monday - Friday: 8pm central - midnight

Saturday - Sunday: varies, but mostly all day (with a two hour break to go take care of my horse at the barn)

Sometimes I'm on as early as 5pm CST (probably Tuesdays or Thursdays.

sounds like we'll have from 6-10pm pst... 8pm-12am cst... 9pm-1am est... unless est'rs need to get to sleep before then.

Friday: Anytime after 1:30pm CST

Saturday and Sunday: Anytime (unless I have to go out of town for anything)

Ok, so barring any unforeseen difficulties, it looks like we can schedule Friday and Saturday, 9pm-12am (later if we're up for it) EST, and Sunday about anytime after 4pm PST (7pm EST).

It also looks like we'll be able to schedule a session or two during the week. I just don't want to cut anyone short on time for farming, or levelling other jobs/other engagements, etc.

It occurred to me that we have what looks like a pretty nice BCNM40 SP too :D

Also, I have classes too. They generally run for 2 weeks, 6pm-10:30pm EST mon-thurs when I have them. During class it will most likely be impossible to xp for any length of time. We should all get together in game and discuss this all.
