Returning players need help please!Follow

Hi all,

I just started playing FFXI again after quitting about four years ago, and my husband decided to start over again too. We both started brand new characters on Carbuncle (because that was his old server) and we're freaked out at how empty it is! It's like a ghost town. Most times I've done /sea all, there are only 800-1,000 people online and they're mostly level 75-99, all in Jeuno! Did we make a huge mistake choosing Carbuncle or are all of the servers this underpopulated now?

This brings me to my other question... how in the bloody hell are we supposed to do our subjob quests without anyone around to party with? We easily duo'd our way to level 17 in a day, but all of the monsters that drop the subjob items are IT+. We can't really ask for help on the server because we almost never see another person, LOL! I haven't found a single other person in Valkurm Dunes. It's crazy!

So, anyone on Carby that's willing to help us? Maybe even invite us to a linkshell? I promise we're awesome ;)

Awesome, thank you! Our character names are Ghoulie and Beaztie. We won't be on until sometime after 5PM CDT so I'll try sending you a tell later tonight. :)
