I wonder how many people that regularly played the game three years ago and made posts on this forum.. still randomly check to see what's up if the idea pops into their head.

I know during my years of hiatus, I'd still pop into the alla forums to view threads.. even if I did not post.

I see you're one of the only regular responders to this server forum these days..

Read through some of the threads and it sparked past memories. Was an interesting time.

I look back at my first posts and they were horribly, disturbingly misguided.

sad the carby forum is (almost) dead, ...all this knowledge to share and no one to listen /cry. i have a feeling that if i would post a question on here it would take weeks to get an answer. only posts made these days are people complaining bout other people. someone plz... start a decent thread.

First off I do check these forums but I vary rarely post (see post count ><)

Second, that video..... very touching, it is very tough to remain a true adventurer.

Used to play a few years ago, i come here and look at this forum once in a while, being in Iraq has made me really bored haha... Been a long time since i played though all i remeber is FoodMonsters and Perfection biting each others heads off.

Well, I do read these forums a lot, but i've never really responded (see post count. I've been playing since late March of 04, and I'm finding it's a pretty nice split of people I've seen for a while and new faces popping up. Proof that this game is still going strong

I was on Carby in 2003 and ended up quitting in 2006.
I had some good friends on here.
I remember Pestilence, as far as I know he is still playing. If anyone on Carbuncle sees him, please tell him Kairn said hey, and "I need a hero!"

Anyway, I remember Smokes, I believe we actually did some PTing together in the Boyahda Tree. I remember he was a damn good puller!
I only remember Wingchild from the forums here, but I still laugh when I remember some of the threads put up by him, Bombard, and Stiltz.

I have a question for some of the "old-timers" on here who post every so often... Did any of you ever think about coming back to FFXI and actually leveling a job by soloing all the way to 75, for a challenge? I've done challenge run throughs on a lot of the old FF games, from FF1 all the way through FFX, and sometimes it sucked but alot of times it was actually fun.
My point was, you've done most everything in FFXI up to and including endgame so you've seen it all already.

I see a lot of people who would like to come back but dont or won't. I used to think about coming back and just taking my time, enjoying all the new bene's and just seeing how far I can take a job on my own. (and I don't mean BM or RD)

Just curious...anyway, hey to all the ancients!

I played this game 3 to 4 years ago, but I quit awile back. Sometimes I miss it, no sometimes I miss my friends in carbuncle. I hope if they still are playing, their having fun. Later, sincerily DL.
