I guess my real question is... does the carpet match the drapes?

It's a toon, controlled by human players.

People are people, a majority of us will make wrong decisions.. sadly it's a part of life that allows us to learn from mistakes through experience.

Thus, experience from being on the receiving end of a bad mistake.. ends up costing that person their reputation. If someone makes a bad decision accidentally, and learns from it[ie: does not end up doing the same thing twice] then forgiveness is the key. Apologizes are well-advised.

If a person makes a purposely bad mistake and/or continues to deal them, then by all means they should be shunned from a respected community.

Moral of the story: I do thank her for weathering us her experience. I personally won't shun them at all, but I will be wary of possible bad situations I could put myself in so I do not let the same thing happen.

I apologize if it seemed like I was singling out your statement, ralunsanlun[dont know if that's the proper name you go by], but I do understand personally where both of you come from.

I do see the issue that although Filielle is stating useful information in most regards, it is highly unlikely that all of the players in question are going to be able, or even bother with getting on allakhazam forums and defending themselves.

Thus, we end up with one side of the story. Which is why in all regards, it's by far not necessary to shun these players. I personally knew Dizzlizm a year or two ago. He was a good player that I interacted with rather frequently.. but people do change. Some quicker then others. It is how humans evolve and grow.

In closing, I apologize if my posts seem argumentative. I, in no way, am trying to go against you. Just stating opinion.

p.s. At least some people post on this forum! I like to know as many people as I can in-game.. and in a positive way. :D see you there!

For those of you who do not know me yet i obviously have no means to defend myself against these slanderous accusations. I will hope that you are willing to form your own opinions of my character, rather then blindly follow the bloggings of a player that until know was a very dear friend of mine.

Also, I wouldn't pay a whole lot of attention to the OP, it seems her and her fiancee have problems doinitrite. One of my ls members got invited to a party by him, only to be instructed by said finacee that "Goblins in yhoator are the best for a level 27 party" and "my girlfriend is a 75 pimped out drk, gear TOTALLY matters once you sync! We'll rock when she gets here!!!"

I concur that I don't like what level sync does to gear. My 75BRD is worthless gear-wise under 72, for starters.

You left the server not so long ago as there's a post that hasn't left the first page of these forums yet, for whatever reason, then you come back and are bitching because people didn't welcome you back with open arms.

From your post it makes them look as to of just done this out of the blue, which seems a little weird as most people wouldnt turn hostile for no reason, so it seems you're leaving out some details about your's and your fiancee's actions.

1: She's an Asian chick, which is pretty much instahot (unless you're singing the national anthem at teh Beijing Olympics, in which case you're ugly and they'll replace you with someone else lipsyncing to your voice)

It is very difficult to read what the Op wrote, sounds like she is trying to sound really intelligent, but comes across arrogant. Nothing she stated makes any sense why she ended up in a pissing contest. In fact she made it sound like she was expecting to come back in and reign as leader of her old link shell, when everyone else did not want that. This is the exact reason why there ends up being so much drama in this game. Non-leaders trying to assume a leadership role over others.

Who cares if another person gives money to another player, in fact it was all hearsay and nothing factual. Who cares if another player flirts with other people, it is some peoples personality. Just because it is a turn off to you does not mean you have the right to judge others, especially here where you know they do not know that they need to defend them selves.

Your post on the same page about not running from the "Drama" was inconsistent as well. So you ran from the drama of the Fairy server back to here and find more drama. Drama Queens find drama, create drama and it always follows them. I hope I do not run into you in the game, as I like to enjoy my game and avoid Drama Queens. I just find it pathetic you hide behind these curtains in an attempt to ruin other peoples reputation. Leave people alone you do not like and guess what? They will leave you alone! Good luck in life...

If you don't know any of the people involved, how can you call any of the people involved "wrong"? The saying goes, "There's three sides to every story: His side, her side, and what really happened." Without hearing from the other side, it would be impossible to make base accusations that the OP's story is entitely without merit purely on the speculation that you feel they are a drama queen. At least some of their story must have some morsel of truth to it, as I doubt someone would go through the time to make that long of a slanderous post for no reason. It's possible, but unlikely.

Furthermore, just because different people have different encounters with other people does not mean some of us still wouldn't want to hear about them. If some leathercrafter stole somerone's behemoth leather as pard of a conntracted duck synth and logged off, I'd want to know so I can avoid them. If someone has a habit of showing up to parties in no gear, I'd want to know so I can avoid them. If someone were to steal, say, a Cleric's Cap or a Shadow Mantle, I'd want to know so I can avoid them.

I will also admit that I don't know all of the players in the OP very well, although I have partied with some of them and have already drawn my own positive and negative conclusions on those I have met. However, unless any of the other people involved post to defend themselves, the only thing we have in this story is one person's side which statistics will say is usually between 5% and 95% accurate.

I agree and that is what upsets me. To go to all the trouble of posting on this forum does have its reasoning. My take on it is, that it gives a person a chance to bash someone else with out knowledge. As we all know maybe 5% of the FFX1 community frequent these boards. So we have people that have no idea they need to defend them selves, and nothing the OP stated was even remotely similar to the examples you gave about crafters or party members. As I would love to know who is a crook, but those players usually migrate to another server or quit.

I am a general manager and I have to make determinations about people, weather clients or my workers. I often have to form and make decisions on the fly. In my experience people who have "drama" experiences with any consistency creates their own problems. We all know those people in life and we generally avoid them. In this case every time the Op changes servers she leaves because of some drama, or problems with other people. She stated that her self.

My main problem is the Op called another person "RMT" with out any proof. She linked another persons My Space account with the sole purpose of degrading another person. To me when I read the Op's post it was vindictive and nothing substantial. There are so many holes in this story, and frankly it does not add up and it does not make sense. To quote Judge Judy "If it does not make sense, it's not true." If you ask me, if anyone were to care about my opinion... Again this is my opinion /readys for back lash. This appears the whole post is to avoid confrontation with the people the Op has a problem with. I guess people take this game way to seriously, I can not even remember all the people I removed from my blacklist lol. Let alone hold a grudge...

But somehow none of the usual ball-licking SE fanbois on Alla believed me when I prophecied that level-sync was not only going to suck, but also that nerfing high level, rare/ex gear like CoP, God, HNM gear kinda goes against the whole "Let's encourage high level people to level at lower levels" campaign.

Then again they are ball-licking SE fanbois. What can you expect?
