I'm interested in starting a leveling static from Lv. 40-42 and working our way up. I currently have Lv. 42 DRG / PUP / COR / WAR. I haven't decided which class to carry next so I'll base it off whichever responses I get. I already have a Lv. 43 SAM teamed with me so we're mostly in need of a healer and a tank. Any jobs are welcome and any play styles will be considered. I would prefer any players who won't require much downtime due to other priorities not excluding leveling of sub and/or lack of gear/gil.
Once a group has been decided, times will be times set weekly to meet and level up. I want to estimate meeting at least twice weekly for a few hours each night. If all goes well the static should see 75 in as little time as needed. For any replies either send me a tell in game, message me through POL, or respond here via post or private msg.

Not to talk down to your thread to make it sound bad, but if there is one thing that i've learned about exp statics, at least for certain jobs, all they do is slow you down.
You said you already have a group for your 43 sam, so are you looking for another one? If that's the case, how often would the new static for the other jobs be?
You said that your sam static just needs a tank and a healer to complete it, do you *REALLY* think that a healer and especially a tank is going to static? At least if they don't know you they wouldn't.
Once again, i'm not trying to talk you down. I actually hope that someone in game does decide to static with you, but if you're a nin, cor, pld, brd, rdm etc. etc., why on earth would you even want to static with anyone? You can party whenever you darn well feel like.
The worst thing about statics is being 4 or 5 out of 6 ready to go, then the 6th not being online or so lol. That sucks lol, and in the end, slows you down.
Heck, my bro was a darn thf and he was in a static and got to 64 before he quit. IMO, if he would've not joined the static, he would've been a higher level...but would've probably had less fun.

Just to clarify, this post is for ONE static not several. Currently 2 members have been selected: Lv. 43 SAM and myself (42DRG/42WAR/42PUP/43COR). I am undecided as to which class I will add to the static. Not all 6 slots must be filled. Please keep thread responses limited to direct replies and not opinions of the relevance of this topic. Thanks in advance.

Nah, not just yours, all of them in general. Even if my own bro was in the static, I still didn't see the point.
Can't even tell you how many times my bro would feel so BAD because he didn't make it on a day you guys were supposed to pt, and how guilty he felt about it. It's just not worth it.
On the flip, i'm sure it sucked for you guys to be ready to party...only to find out one of your members isn't going to pt that day >,<
I guess if you're in a really busy endgame shell and only have a set amount of time to really do stuff and you know the people are always on it works, but otherwise, I just don't see the point lol.

Well there were a few reasons we decided to stick together as long as we did. For one, our team was magic when we partied together, with a near perfect setup, and we really had alot of fun. We never had to deal with random people, got excellent xp/hour, and flowed like a machine.
While we might have leveled quicker alone, who can guarantee that? A bad streak in invite rates, downturn in prices on some farming items leaving you broke (happens to me alot) might leave you leveling even slower than partying with a static a few times a week.
It worked well for us because we have careers and were only on during the evening, got along well and were all competent with our party duties. And honestly, if someone offered you a clear guaranteed road to 75 early in your drg careeer you telling me you wouldn't take it?

Nope, wouldn't even consider it.

But it's not anyones fault why you didn't make it all the way to 75. RL stuff happens. Things happen. There's nothing that can be done about that.
I stopped dragoon at lvl 67....that's STILL higher than anyone's level in your static if the levels are still up to date.
Sure, lfping sucks, i'm not going to even bother lying about that, it's one of the worst aspects of the game, but i'd sooner solo a bunch of decent challenges for 50+ exp each and eps for 35+ exp each with no down time for 2 hours while lfping, then to actually static with anyone. Things always happen with those from my personal experiences with them.
Plus what my brother went through. Like I said, he felt so damn bad when he couldn't make it to an exp session. This is a damn video game, and nobody should feel that way over a video game.
Now, i'm sure you guys worked together VERY well. You were all GREAT players (well, you were all certainly better players then me lol), but statics just seem to have more negative then positive come out of them in the end.
Now i'm sure a lot of people are saying, well, technically linkshells are statics, but I dunno, I had a system going lol.
I would solo for 2hrs (nothing more) while lfping during jp time (since jps like drgs lol). During that time, I will look to start a party or an invite, whatever came 1st. If neither, then I simply went on to do something else. (which is how I ended up with so much gil btw. I used my time kinda wisely i'd say)
So no, I wouldn't take it because there is no clear cut way to 75. You'll get there eventually...probably quicker if you don't static. *2cents*
