Heyo I just started the game last night and I'm already a lvl 6 White Mage. I've heard Carbuncle is one of the original servers so I decided to join it thinking there'd be lots of people to meet. Problem was... because the server is so old, there's no newbies for me to train with and meet, and nearly 3/4 of the population is japanese. (no problem because I speak some japanese). And seeing how I don't have any veteran friends in this game to help me out I need some pals to get me through.

New as of tonight also. Patching up now and will hopefully be on before the Pats/Jags game goes off.

If you get a chance, I recommend reading the Beginner's Guide. It has a great amount of info that will be useful for new players like yourself.

Thanks for pointing that guide out. It helped a great deal actually and now I dont feel nearly as lost

thats pretty interesting. i haven't logged on in a month cause of issues and more new people are joining. and i thought the game was slowing down!

i've been playing for a while but have done a limited number of missions and quests and have had problems finding help to complete them. need to do sandy missions and all expansion pack missions. character name is gladiator.

Hello there Zrysaadi! Although my shell has a lot of high levels, we are still a purely social shell and a majority of my members totally dont mind those innocent noob questions every brand new player has.

I used to play back in like 03, but I stopped because I moved. I started playing WoW for a while and it was too easy, so I came back to the great old carby server from days past.
Glad to be back. Time to level that monk!
