Is it?

Haven't been here for a while. It's now the server forum with the least (70) threads.

The forum may be a bit silent, but that's because everyone is playing the game Smiley: grin

From what I've seen this forum is indeed dead. The server itself I'm guessing is still on par with the rest. Haven't noticed a decline of players anyway >.>

Indeed. A few hours ago there where around 3600 people online on the Carbuncle server. Now 2000.

xD

Why not? Everyone else does.

Seriously I looked at this forums post count and it's horrible compared to the others.

Why Carby? >.>

I post pharm here every once in a while (like today) but no one ever replies to anything (cause they're all scared of me, think I'm an *******, or both) so it never gets anywhere. Wingchild used to post here pretty frequently but he hasn't played in ages. The only really active thread here for the longest time was the 21 page long "Good people and people to avoid" thread which started out with people just listing their entire linkshell and friend list as "good people" and telling one or two stories about poor player experiences which later evolved/devolved into a circle jerk of rateups and compliments and then into flame fests (one of which was aimed at me even... ah, that was fun) at and about certain players. Then the whole thing fell to **** and died abruptly.

Now this forum suffers a perpetual catch 22... No one posts here because no one reads it. No one reads here because no one posts.

Mikhalia: and FWIW, my posts are 95% helpful, informative, or funny.
Mikhalia: only 5% or less of my posts are utter crap.
Tyapex: 393 posts of utter crap...
Mikhalia: Sounds about right.

I'm not scared of you =P

But yeah your right. It is dying. Alot of people either quit, went to different servers, or went to WoW i think.

Is that also why they come back after about, oh, 2-3 months?

They came back b/c it seems like 90+% of the player base for WoW is nothing but asshats. Everyone out to play just for themselves and can't think about others. It took me 3 years to really hate WoW, only b/c I had several RL friends and a few relatives that played with me. Once they had either quit or moved on I knew where I was heading again. :)

Well I'm not afraid of you either ;-) But I feel the pain, I haven't looked in the Carbuncle forum for several days now. Mainly posting on the main forum.

I'm not afraid of you either. I think we even spoke in game briefly. Carbuncle has way too many JP players though. Coming here made me wish there were NA/EU server only choices even more.

I R not afraid Mik!

We even used to be in the same LS together...

Remember NoHelpWanted?

You and I took someone (Ichigojr I believe) to get his Kahzam keys and got asked for help by an RMT party...only time that's ever happened to me lol.

on Carby:

it's the place I've called home for close to 2 years now, alot of great people on the server, I've been extremely pleased with it.
