So yesterday was day 2. I managed to gain two levels and two friends. I'd say it was a successful day! I finally figured out the coordinate system (as far as what G2 means). Some people have been extremely patient with. Twice I gave this guy directions on where to find me and both times I died and then gave him new directions which happened to point back to town without telling him I was back in town... Oops! That <pos> command should really mention zone name as well. That'd be helpful.

I got some experience working how a Black Mage should work, though I really need to work on my hate management. Things really enjoy hating me. One thing I had difficulty doing was following my log during combat. Is there a way to mute certain information... Like combat from non-party members? If so is there a standard that most people use? I really don't know how many tells and says I missed in combat. It's impossible to follow, especially when there are people near by doing stuff.

Something really useful I found out. On this site if you go up to search and type in the name of an item it tells you if there are any quests that need it! Thats my new best friend! Why get a quest and try to find the items when you can get items and try to find the quest! :)

I was told to start selling items on the AH for what I bought them for (as far as gear and so on...), so I've decided to keep a spread sheet of all the reusable items I've purchased. I'm also going to have a spread sheet of important NPCs and their locations. That should be useful as well. Instead of saying dang it... where did I find that... I can look it up!

For getting in a party, what range of levels can be together? Can a level 6 get decent experience when partying with a level 8 or 9?

Thats it for now,

Contact one of the moderators, they can change the Title of the thread to: Ignore This or something that will inform others from viewing the post.

Speaking up is normal. People like to express their thoughts and feelings. When someone keeps quiet it is either because they do not have the time/concern to respond or that far more interesting thought processes are occurring in their head.
