Hey everyone, I am just starting on your server tonight. This is my first time playing FFXI but have been playing FF for quite awhile. Anyhow, I just wantedto let you guys know that I will be joining you tonight. Not sure what my name is yet but I'll let you know shortly. If anyone has low level guys they want to level or low level jobs they need to work with let me know as I'd be more than happy to group up with you guys. I think I'm going to start with Black Mage and then switch to White Mage from 18 to 37 using black mage as my second job then switch back to black mage at that point... Thats my plans anyways who knows what I'll really end up doing!
Anyhow, just wanted to let you guys know that I am new and looking for a group of people to frequently group up with or get help from! :). I tend to play 8-12 PM Central Time.

You can't expect much of a warm welcome. These boards are usually fried and the gaming community inside the actual games itself takes a couple weeks to come by.

Hello there Altis. I'm about to follow in your foot steps here and enter into this server as a noob. I've been a FF fan for many years now and even had a previous account that I was unable to reactivate due to 3+ years of inactivity.... Anywho, I'm currently updating the game and getting ready for my long awaited return to the world of Vana'diel. Once I get the game fired up and a new Taru created I'll drop a name in here.
I'm thinking of rolling BLM up until the subjob quest and roll as WHM/BLM to 30/37 and switch it out for SMN/WHM (as I enjoyed playing summoner in the past at least until lvl 36). As a noob, this will leave me with jack for summons up until 20 and even then I'll still be missing a few until much later. Missing Diablos and Fenrir isn't that big a deal to me anyway since I'll probably be healing with most parties. That's still up in the air as I've never really enjoyed playing the healer roles much, though I seem to end up playing them. Last time around I was a BLM/SMN and got a lot of crap for that b/c everyone thought I should have been BLM/WHM.
My play times will vary a bit due to the nature of my job and the number of tasks being piled on me here in the next few weeks. I usually play around 6 or 7pm - 12am MNT time. Anything later than that and my performance at my job suffers the next day. I'm not going to say this will be an every day schedule but it'll be as often as I can get on!
I'm looking forward to my not-so-big comeback to FF and I hope to meet some interesting people on this server. =)

Wow, I greatly underestimated the time it would take to update the game. That's one experience I'll be glad to forget again. Took around 6 1/2 hours to update it all. O.O

Thanks you two. It has been a little over a week now and I've made my way up to lvl 11 whm and lvl 12 blm (at least the sub will be ready for a while). I even got my cousin to join in on the noob action. Was hoping to talk my other cousin into joining as well but he's a tough one to sell to. Oh well, at least I have one person I can group with.

hey everyone my name is valoron. i used to play ffxi on a server i cant remember, but stopped because all my friends went to wow. So i went with them, made it to level 70, and am now burnt out of raiding and grinding quests. i cant take wow anymore, and if my friends want to join me back on ffxi they can, but im looking for a group of new friends to play with, and i hope that your server will be fun. thanks a mil, hope to have some fun!! :D
