Assuming that's you, welcome to the Carby Server Forum on AK! I know this isn't your typical hangout, but it's nice of you to stop by.

We have met a time or four, but you're often busy and likely wouldn't remember me. We don't know each other that well - when do WHMs ever party with each other? ^^



I haven't listed you strictly for kicks. This consolidation post exists to gather the opinions of people on Carbuncle and help identify good crafters. As I remember, you earned one negative rating within the first two days of the post's creation (which would have been late October, 2004). That post was done through PM rather than publicly, which is why it doesn't show in the listing. The source is trustworthy.

It's no big problem, though. You've said you do crafting only for friends - having a negative rating here helps ensure even fewer people will hassle you for goldsmithing, which may help make your life a bit quieter.

The rating will stand.


I note that this is also your first post on AK's Carby Forum, indicating that you learned of this post's existance and wanted to make an opinion known. That's admirable. As long as you're ego-surfing and defending your good name, you may want to page back through the forum posts and read for awhile. Judging from the number of times you're mentioned, there are probably some questions to clear up before you worry about your image as a crafter. ^^

^^ Yeah G. Bird Fletchings are really big loss. (costs ~40k to make a stack, and they only sell for 12k if you're lucky... and if you don't fail)

Phlare just noticed your lvl your gonna have to synth these for me sometime i need a dodo load and ill bring you the matrials.

*the "lvl under cap" does not take into account the +1 i get from my magnifying spectacles.

Sorry on the no-updates last week, but I was home sick all week. C'est le vie.

Phlare, Jrunk; no problem on all the posting, but maybe it'd be better to handle work requests in a different thread? I can see this one getting cluttered -fast- if people start using it to handle all their "please please make this for me" postings. Allakhazam even has a fairly decent PM system in place so that users can send messages back and forth to one another. That might be an even better option. ^^

Lol sorry Wingchild, I'll try and update once a week maybe 2ce from now on. Phlare, and Eadrick + 1 rate up if I havent alrdy.

(Whoa this is getting expensive ><. Sold all my gear and alot of other stuff got about 600k left. Hoepfully its enough skill to make my money back in a short amount of time instead of sitting in front of an AH for hours straight like I useally do for money ^^.)

Well those are all my mains atm only plan to work on smithing till 60 and wood to 100 and all i have to say is the smithers who don't Mine (or buy there gil >< ) i congragulate u this is in no way a cheap craft at all.

Let me just say.. 70-80 on WW has been the second worst ingame expierience for me EVER!! Soo frustrating!

Ahhh heck. I'm here to vouch for Darkschneider just because he's my brother. Yes he is lvl 51 smithing at the moment. I know because I've spent alot of money funding his smithing efforts. >.<;;

And no, I am not just saying this because he will hit me if I don't. (jk)

Only reason its gonna be awhile is because 94-100 is gonna cost me roughly about 5+ mil gil. Also only +1 in guild gear but that'll change in 2 days from now as long as they don't want me to turn in a desk for GP tomorow.

I wouldn't mind being added to the list of crafters. My characters name is Kazel (somehow the username was already taken :( ) I mainly make items for my LS members but if someone needed something I could make and brought me the materials I'd have no problem helping them out.

Put a hold on skilling up wood until Vizionz decides to farm Lqr. logs with me.

I HATE ALCHEMY I WILL NOT HELP ANY ONE MAKE ANYTHING THAT IS MAIN ALCH CRAFT, unless you have everything ready and are ready to make trade as soon as finished crafting. I only lvled it for sub because of bows and other such main wood work items that need it :P. Sorry its just a pain nothing really stacks. Ill help no prb if item stacks lol.

Question to those quite high in bonecrafting.

What's the avg cost on the make of the Dragon Mail for dragoons? I mean like materials to make the armor? Also and in all honesty is it really russian roulette when getting +1's at the higher levels of crafts?

I just wanted to know what I was looking at before me in my attempts to get it made here in the near future.

Bonecraft 9.0 - Recruit
Fishing 11.1 - Recruit
Goldsmithing 48.4 - Apprentice
Smithing 23.0 - Initiate
Woodworking 9.0 - Recruit

Leathercraft 2.0
Clothcraft 6.8
Cooking 0.2
Alchemy 4.0

The rest are Amateur.

Goldsmithing is the current craft that is getting Guild Points. Currently I have 106k guild points. This sunday, I plan to rank up and get my glasses.
