I am not too social on Carbuncle, mostly hang out with my ls and either craft or choco dig (1 year and my highest char is 44:P).

Alchemy: 85 (only 27000GP... working on gear now)
Woodworking: 30
Smithing: 25
Goldsmithing: 25
Leather: 24
Clothcraft: 22
Bonecrafting: 11
Cooking: 7:P
Fishing: 0...

I specialize in Ninja tools, bullets, crossbow bolts and dabble in status weapons and arrows. (currently working to be able to make all ninja tools from scratch including shuriken).
Currently I pretty much only craft for my LS, but if I am not busy I will craft ussually at cost for normal synth (I retain all extras made in HQing... and will buy extra ingredients on failures... but that's because I don't craft often for others:P).

Oh, forgot to mention, my character's name is Lythe:)

Oh, and I have anima synth support.

Pulverise is Smithing 100+3 with all subs maxed, he usually ask for 100k a synth whether he HQ it or not, but always end up synthing for free lol, bit contradictory of his asking fee, but I'm not complaining ^^

yeah, you aren't kidding, Aad. I was working on bonecraft the other day and wound up investing ~1mil in ingredients for 27 synths - 24 successes - wound up breaking even (made ~10k and lost that on auction house listing fees).

Skill gained: 0.4

I'll link Kat's post up, though it's easy to find in the crafting forum. Why not. ^^

aad re: Arkenstone's guide - that one is pretty solid. I started bonecrafting back before he wrote it so had a slightly different path to 60; for example at one point I was making gelatin (fire crystal: giant femur + distilled water). There's a second recipe that lets you make gelatin off chicken bones but that isn't cost effective (they sell too nicely). Besides, femurs are easy to farm, just go molest Dhalmels for awhile.

My problem is I'm stuck in that 60+ range, working the demon horns, which at present are 33k for a single or ~330k a stack at Jeuno's AH. Losing synths is punishing.

No point whining though, I hear goldsmiths have it worse than bonecrafters, even if 99% of our stuff is arrowheads and 99% of those result in a loss. :)

Wing how ya doin'?! :)

Anyway, I'm here to put yet another vote in for Zky -- just ten minutes ago I equipped the last [realistically speaking] piece of gear for my DRK I'll ever buy. Signed, too. Hauberk. >:)

Zky is one of the coolest, most laid back people I've ever met and the synth went off like it was some award cerimony. [I just hit 69 right before I hopped the boat to Bastok to meet him]. Cool guy, badass synth. Who else can say they have a signed Hauberk by Zky?

Hey bas you should try what im going to do man.

Just stock your house with a grip load of wind ele for the moghancement. Then try the Iron splitters and hope they break with no loss of adaman ingots. That should come out to a good amount of skill ups given you don't lose the ingots. Free skill ups on the ones your don't lose ^^.

It's gonna be awhile before i lvl up again.

3/40 lancewood logs
1/35 adaman ingots

I have to admit, my favorite skill ups are the ones where I loose only the crystal... I like it even better then success... cause you can just keep going, and it doesn't cost you anything:)... Oh, and on a side note... w/o synth support it appears you will loose more ingredients on failure:(... Lost a Mugwort yesterday and almost cried:(... First one I had found in almost 3 months...

I stopped posting on Allakhazam boards a while back due to alot of bs, but thought I'd drop by to give update on skills;

Smithing 92.1+2 (+3 Adv Support)
(Mastersmith Anvil 2/3's complete GP)

Alchemy 60
Woodworking 60
Clothcraft 60
Leathercraft 60
Goldsmithing 58+1
Bonecraft 0 (no point in leveling this, only used in making claws. Not going to blow gil to take to 60)

Note: If you have questions, feel free to ask me in game; But, for the love of god don't msg me saying something along the lines of, "I have materials for XXX synth. Can you make me XXX +1?".
It gets on my nerves and you will get ignored, I'm just fed up with all the +1 requests. Once again, HQ is dependant on LUCK don't expect it to HQ. With that said there is always risk of failed synthesis even to a 100 Veteran Crafter. So please don't go postal on the synther if they fail, you assume the risk so if failure occurs you must deal with it.

I have fees that I charge for certain synthesis. Depending on the item and it's value a fee will be made. Signing of weapons/armors will result in a 25K fee unless you are a personal friend. Additional charges apply for HQ synthesis.

Records I have kept so far;
Haubergeon 30/30 (no fails)
Hauberk 8/8 (no fails)

Eadrick...
Youngster lost a shining cloth on a synth that Eadrick did. However no one was around to witness this. So we are not sure if he is telling the truth or not.

I am just warning everyone, please do not have someone craft something for you unless you are there to watch it.

I also would advise crafters to take screenshots of all synths. Just to cover your own backs.

Eadrick is a great clothcrafter, one of the best in my opinion, right up there with Phlare.

Crafted me a Haunted Muleta right in front of me after dynamis one night. Very trusting crafter.

In regards to Duncan's post, I do believe he lost the cloth. He's not one of them people that steals stuff.

I am just saying that in the future, and for everyones peace of mind, You should take SS on all synths.

Warning about Gogou;

It's been recently noted that this user stole a pair of Strider Boots from a user on Carbuncle server. I won't get into details as it's been posted on Killingifrit.com forums already.

All I will say is, Gogou is a mass IGE gilbuyer and now also a thief. Do not trust this person at any cost. Yes he/she/it is 100 Woodworking(or so it seems) but do not trust this person.

If you request Gogou to make you some cursed item, and he/she runs off with it. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Gogou is not JP, is NA and cannot ever be trusted.

Bone :60 (not lieing this time :P
wood:woodworking 98+3 (not +3 yet but will be in like 4 days

The rason people mistake Gogou for japanese is because there a japanese people which closely reasemble his name. Goguo is japanese Gold smither very trust worthy last i dealt with him crafted me 6 ice beads long time ago no charge do to he was the nin in a bomb **** party i started. Well I can't recall all the names which sound like his but you do wants to watch out for

"Gogou, Gogoutwo, Gogouthree~all the way to secen i believe which are his mules.

Most of the times I can tell when people rise throu the ranks of woodworking very close due to the fact that I some times check the prices of the materials to get an estimate of how much it'll cost me to lvl. Well none the less I was lvl 91 woodowrking when gogou was around lvl 60 and had already had his hands on a Lu shang rod. Less then 3 weeks later I was 94 and him 96 was asking me what he should make for profit. I didnt think any thing at the time cept **** this dude plays this game to much lol. 3 days after that he sent me a /tell about he hit 100. Now I don't make speculations or false comments to any body I don't know about. Just wanna state that he did lvl woodowrking 60-100 in about 3 weeks.

It took me about 3 months for that just so you know. While not lvling just farming my armor and reselling it hopeing like a **** fool that this is a good investment.

Now also before you go into suppspsion about him buying gil I'd like to say while he was lvling he has been terribly lucky the **** bastard. 3 +1 Cynthreria harps (SP) while skilling on those, 2 HQ iron splitters and .5 skill ups on the same recipe.
Also he didnt listen to my advice about the smithing cap which I think I have told a couple of other he has made more then one of an item that sells for alot because im an idiot and told him it was good profit. ><.

Well since I know piccasso some what I am very **** that his boots got jacked. It always sucks **** when people just can't over come there greed and pull an old school pergo or new school zilartz. Well I'm not gonna throw fuel to the fire any more.

Wingchild Sorry but I would also like to be pulled from the goodcrafters and back to the nuetral. I'm not going to be crafting much for others any more unless I know them or someone I know has reffered them to me. Thank you.

Okay. Gogou will be rated down and is now listed as untrustworthy.

Goguo will be listed as a good goldcrafter if he isn't already.

Jrunk, I'm not moving you out of the good crafters section; you're a good crafter and trustworthy besides. I will put a note up that you only accept work as referrals though.

It is YOUR responsibilty to be there for the synth, not ours, and if you aren't there and something goes badly, don't make false accusations. It's not our job to prove that the synth went one way or the other, and if you have difficulty believing the results, make sure you're there when the synth goes down. We're providing a valuable service and could very easily stop doing so.

Spreading false rumors only serves to drive up commission prices when you come crawling back for more.

I'm glad it works. It's a lot easier to update, easier to read, and prettier to look at. Now I just have to train myself to produce that kind of work first instead of doing something functional-yet-hideous and having to fix it later. :)

Phlare in no way was I bashing Eadrick (I like Eadrick, hes my Lifevest buddy), this forum is here for this very reason. I used that as an example as to what people should do from now on to cover there own ass, on both ends. Looking at this from a legal standpoint.

Yes you are correct it is that person's responsibility to be there for the synth. And you also say "It's not our job to prove that the synth went one way or the other", which might be true depending on the way you look at it, but you do realize people want proof one way or another, that is where your "business" or "name" can be in jeopardy.

That is why I said that crafters should take Screenshots of all synths. Then that way there would never be any confusion or false claims. SS are simple and don't waste any time to do, and also gives you something to fall back on to protect yourself.

Also I <3 Kaela.^^ She is a sweety.

ppl usually go to ead or kaela before the come to me anyway, since i'm not on nearly as much as either of them. I once blew up a siren's macrame that someone commissioned me for, but they were right there when it happened, so there was no such issue.

sure, taking a screenshot isn't a big deal if you already happen to have fraps running. I typically don't. But it is a good idea to take screenies of the more expensive/difficult synths

just not directly. i'm sure many of the items you've created were purchased excitedly by someone, whether they knew you made it or not :)

Hello everyone,

You all may have seen me in game or maybe not. I've been playing for a little under a year and a half. I've just recently started crafting and my choice was leathercraft. I really don't know why...lol.

Anyway, I've got my leather to 57 and my cloth to 22. I know it's nothing compared to you guys but if anyone ever needs something from leather give me a tell. I'll be glad to at least try. Oh also, I'm only 12,000 GP's from my gloves. YEAH!!

Thanks,
Gfan

Got some people to recommend~ :

First is Kaela, she's a great Clothcrafter, tends to make various thing for ppl at no charge whatsoever, even some HQ lol ^^. Next is Zky, awesome Smither, he won't charge his very personal friends, even if asked >_<-- but he'll charge people he doesn't know well XD Lastly, Miss Terria, a great upcoming Clothcrafter, expect good things from her in the near future ^^b

P.S: Gonna get back on Alchemy in a few days, so expect some more updates XD
