I'm new to the game and looking for a server. Odin appealed to me since I know it's full, and nothing kills the enjoyment of an MMORPG for me like a thinned out population (also, I play in PST). But now it's become clear to me that almost all servers' low-level cities (Bastok, etc) are empty, and I'm wondering if that means that high server population isn't all it's cracked up to be. Any advice would be really appreciated... I just don't want to have to change servers, I like to build long-term friendships and such.

Every server is the same, you are about 3-4 years to late to be in a crowded starter city. Hell Jeuno barely has anyone anymore.

This game is past the infancy stage and many people have multiple 75's though the introduction of lvl sync will help you it's not going to be easy.

If you decide to join caistih you better have thickskin otherwise you won't make it out of the forum alive.
