So, last night I made the decision to sell my Kraken Club. I don't have DRK or RNG leveled and I never really plan to, so I realized that I could do so much more with 30-40mil or so for my NIN than the KC will do for me. The first order of business was to put it in my bazaar for about 40mil and shout for bids. I set the KC in my bazaar for "40,000"(You can see where this is going) and started to shout to get bids. I am running from the AH and all of the sudden "Boom, Akisu buys the Kraken Club from your bazaar." OMG, OMG, OMG I am rich!!! I hit ctrl + E to see and "omg! I have 185K!?!?!?" I realize immediatley the error I made.

Now, I don't live far from the highway and I figure a big truck would probably hurt less than a small car. I am trying to slow my heart rate down and breath. I feel like the biggest moron on the planet. Then it hits me, maybe, just maybe, there is a decent person in this world. I send Akisu a tell: "I'm sorry, I made a stupid mistake, would you sell it back to me?" I'm thinking this is futile, i'm expecting no tell or a "Sure, for 30-40mil!" Nothing comes. I am sitting here just ready to move on and congratulate the person who just bought a 44K (40K+bazaar fee)Kraken Club when: "Just a sec, i'm gonna show the LS because they don't believe me, then i'll give it back." What!? No way, this guy has to be fking with me! I am standing next to him, his LS mates surrounding me, slapping Akisu out of jealousy for a 44K Kraken Club. I wait about 5 minutes, he unequips it, trades me and I give him more than he gave me to make up for his kindness. Akisu trades me the club and gives me sound advice: "Next time check your numbers, 99% of this server wouldn't give it back." I told Akisu if he ever needs my help I will never hesitate to return his kindness!

I just wanted to make this thread to say; Akisu, you are a pimp. If it was anyone else, I would have been told to go fk myself most likely. You are deserving of praise my friend, I am in your debt.

I made this thread to show that there are still good people in this world. Some may say Akisu is an idiot because he bought the club fair and square, but having the courtesy to forgive someone for a mistake is HUGE and takes a good person to do. Akisu I can never thank you enough, this Bud's for you!

Lesson: Don't put Kraken Clubs in your bazzar and hit the sell button until you check your numbers *sigh*

I can't say I know Akisu too well, outside of the /wave's we exchange. However, I can say, I have yet to hear of anything bad in regards to him, so I can say this action on his part does not surprise me at all.

Haven't we been over this? It wasn't stolen. By the sounds of it though, you buy enough gil to support a third world country for about 3 months.

1/57 on BCNM 60 got me the Kraken Club. If you have any doubt about how I got it, you can ask Raidenleonhart or Technologic. Both were there when it dropped for me. You can also ask Tren, Xizuru and Ronandarkblade as to how many times I have done that BCNM. Trust me, if I was a gil buyer, I wouldn't spend so much time fishing.

I think you're leaving out some details as to how exactly that's stealing it, you didn't say if he was or was not supposed to.

In the future, when listing a Kraken Club in your bazaar, always check your price 2 to 8 times.

You can probably assume it was intentional and an attempt to trap you in a response like that. Anyway, Odin isn't worth fighting with.

Ironically, you can ask Akisu if I stole it or not, on account of he's been a good friend of mine for about 4 years and was in the fugging HNMLS from day 1 until I took a break from FFXI. Also, Pabst was there the day it dropped helping me camp, so I'm pretty sure he knows what he is talking about. I've never even seen you around Illuminatus. Here is the actual scenario:

1.) Shawn creates the linkshell and is the ONLY person who plans/leads/organizes any event whatsoever. Meaning he has attended everything.
2.) Shawn camps King Arthro daily, taking whatever help is offered be it a RDM to duo with or 5 people from the linkshell.
3.) One day it drops, Shawn spends his points, lots on belt.
4.) Profit from where? I still have the belt dipsh*t.

I'm pretty sure DB has no reason to lie to back me up, doesn't he just normally bash everyone on these forums? DB doing something nice? There's a reason.
