hi all.
i'm a complete noob to ffxi. i played at launch but had no friends to go at it with, so i put it away.
well, last week i had the undying urge to pick it up and start at it again, so i did.
i've mostly been trying out the different jobs and such but i was wondering if there are any noob friendly link shells out there that i could get in or if anyone would be will to take me under the wing. :] i'm finding it extremely hard to do just about anything at the moment.
i've mostly been re-creating characters to get a feel but i'd honestly play anything if i had a purpose.
currently i'm trying my luck as a mithra thief. my ign is Rakamishu.

I know there are quite a few. If none of the bigger names respond (which they probably will), I'm in a little social shell that is friendly to all job and skill levels.

We do not hold your hand through things, however, we have no issues and enjoy (myself personally) quite a bit helping people, as long as you're willing to put forth the effort to help yourself along the way.
The things we do vary from Rank Missions, ZM/CoP/ToAU/WoTG Missions, AF quests, Avatar runs, scheduled events that members put forth interest, and all out just having fun. We really enjoy doing Campaign battles (the new Wings of The Goddess expansion), and Besieged battles together as well.
