Mine was awesome. Drank a lot of tequila and beer, ate a lot of BBQ, saw "Wanted" and "Hancock." On the FFXI side, it was probably the most amazing few days i've had in the game.

I finally got the Kraken Club to drop from BCNM 60. After going 0/56, I felt it was kind of deserved, lol. It dropped on a 63% moon. On top of that, I went 1/1 on Swift Belt. I have had a codex for over a year and a half. We popped the hume three times and went 2/3 total. The last amazing thing that happened was when I put my level 30 JSE body in my bazaar for 1 mil, until I could figure out how much to sell it for and someone bought it! I immediatly went out and bought the rest of my DD/Haste build for my NIN. So now my NIN (level 52 atm) will have 20% Haste at 75 and a Kraken Club for my /DNC fun!

Anyway, how was your weekend? Any good stories, good drops?

Two alliance rallied in North Guastaberg [s] trying to take it back on Thursday night. There is no-one to pickup the slack when the main organizer had to turn in for the night. So far the raid on Fortification defender has mainly being organized by the Japanese players. Its high risk, often no-tag engagement against the fort defenders and transporters.

We came close to taking the North Gustaberg, but failed. We'll try again this coming Thursday. Congrates to Windurstian in successfully retaining Sarutabaruta.

I got pretty hammered on my buddies boat on 4th of july, me and the girl got home around 3am, and passed out.

Woke up and went to see my grandfather who is not doing well, while having this incredibly bad hangover.

Got home, and did some housework the rest of that day, and the day after.

I gotta admit, I can plant a mean set of flowers when I need to ;)

Meh, I had to work the night of the 4th, so my "holiday" was bleh. I did, however get to see all the cool CS's that go along with the new WotG missions, AND (even though we died - Herouchi and I)I made it to La Vaule and saw the Dragon CS. Now, all I need do is fight it :)

Wow, Davoi used to look pretty.

Grats that's a good weekend, I remember a few of those myself.

Now more seriously, unless your Drk75 or Rng75 leave the kraken in the moghouse unless it's for fun.

I've had one for awhile now and can give you some pointers if you like.

I'm planning to use it on my NIN/DNC for Ballista, small stuff when screwing around, farming and breaking Trial Katana and Senju. Two of my good RL friends have decent 75 DRKs and they used it to cap their club skill so we can semi-burn some of the small-man NMs we do. It's obviously a situational toy.

My real joy came from my Swift Belt. With it, I will hit 20% Haste on my NIN when I get 75.

Honestly you're not going to want to use it in ballista. Most chances the club is going to do 0 damage in ballista. Unless your going after a squishy job with shadows or low def, I wouldn't advise it.

I personally don't enjoy ballista on NIN very much though. My joy from that comes from Ranger. When I go nin, I go /rdm for diaga, cures, fast cast and just spam some ele's.

Sounds good though, I know how hard I worked for it and that sense of accomplishment finally see'ing it in your inventory.

Enjoy

It's good for chasing away shadows and building TP on WARs, MNKs, RNG, etc. I screwed around with it on my PLD the other day in the Diorama as /DNC, It's amazing!
