I am curious what exactly they did to MNK. I decided to log on last night after the update and tried hitting some mobs in castle zvahl...I only did 125..and no more. Just a stable 125.
After reading, they capped the damage you can do on TW mobs. People are trying to justify it saying "It's only on TW and EP Mobs.."
Sorry, but like myself, there are other MNK's that use their job to farm. I mean theres RDM's and PLD's doing the same amount of damage as us on TW mobs now. A PLD was hitting the same mobs for 103. Thats no difference at all.
Congratulations Square, you @#%^ed over MNK's who farm their asses off. You also severely screwed over other damages. DRK's with Scythe are doing 4k guillotines, and SAM's 2.5k gekko's.
They changed the pDIF for when you've reached the attack cap vs a mobs' DEF from the "range of 1.6-2.4" to a flat 2.0. So, basicly, by losing that .4 your max melee damage was reduced from a possible max of 151 to 126 (not counting kicks w/Kick ATK booties or Mobs weak to Blunt).
Honestly, the average was 126 before the update, so it shouldn't change DOT noticeably. And when you factor in CRITS (Which add another 1.0 to PDIF) just like with melee hits, you're now ALWAYS going to hit the cap of 3.0 (the AVG before the update) rather than the "Range of 2.6-3.4".

So, they haven't really "nerfed" MNK this update, they've just greatly improved 2H weapons. So much so, in fact, that Ridill WARs and Pimped MNKs are crying fowl all over teh forums, cause mediocore DRKS, SAMS, and even

But no worries, SE should be hitting em with the nerf stick during an emergency maintenance sometime soon.
