I hoped to hit RNG40/NIN20 last night. Hit 38 in a party fighting Crawlers, joined another party fighting Beetles in CN but one of the RDMs dinged to 41 and the Beetles were just taking too many damned arrows so I left that party. Got an invite to go out with a mostly-36 party to Gustav tunnel with 2.1K to level 39. We get out there and the exp is good enough to make up for those damned Hawkers spamming Cursed Sphere (Three times in 25 seconds more than once). Unfortunately, this party started really late so, while everyone dings at least once, the WHM and I are both left with 1K TNL at 5 AM when the party breaks up.

So now I'm not really sure what to do. I don't have much gil on hand and I have enough arrows to get another 2k to 3k exp, which will be plenty in a group to get my to my coveted level 40, but I'm a little conflicted about joining a party for half an hour and then running after I get my level. But I'll also need to sell my current bow to afford the level 40 one, and it's time for an ammo upgrade too. Guess I'll just hope I can find someone willing to accomodate me.

The bad news is I'm basically broke while waiting for more crap to sell on the AH. I maybe could've afforded one more stack of arrows, but that's it and I wouldn't have had any Chocobo money then.

The good news is that I found an understanding group and got 2500 exp on my 130 remaining arrows before leaving for a BLM replacement. Level 40, so sweet. Just need to scrounge together the gil for my new bow and some ammo, maybe a Marksman's Ring, and then it's BCNM40 time.
