Ok its bugging me quite a bit now. What the hell are these Giant Clams for? Does anyone know? Has anyone messed with them?

I have no idea. I've clicked them before, but nothing happened.

I tried searching the bestiary here, but no go. Hmm... most likely for a quest of some sort.
