Question for those who still playFollow

I know a returning player thread is broad-based and helter skelter. I've read the general forums and such but I wanted to ask Bis-Raph specifically, how many people were online at any one time if you did a /sea all? If someone could give me some stats to work off of. The size of the membership base, how many casual linkshells and size of their memmbers, how many end games, how many casual endgames, etc. etc.

Thank you!

About 1300ish last time I checked, which was a week or so ago. Around 9PM EST.

It feels like fewer because we've had a sort of split. The JP hub has shifted back to Aht Urghan somewhat, and the NA/EU hub is Port Jeuno where it's been since Abyssea came out. There's some overlap of course, especially when people are recruiting for stuff, but I think this is why Bis-raph has not experienced the infamous "PJ Lockout" that occurred on some of the other servers.

Ye Olde FFXIAH can give you the low down on linkshells. Some of the names of the big HNMs are pretty familiar... still kicking around after all this time, they are. (TKSJ is new though. First time I saw it I went "who the hell is that?" but the names inside are mostly familiar.)

Yeah, 1300 is about right on the server population at a given point for the 5 or so times I've checked since I got on. I did see 1600 once when I was on at 4am after having given the baby a bottle and not able to go back to sleep (I'm CST BTW).

Yup those averages sound about right for people online, it's almost 10pm central time and there's about 1500+ people online playing. The game has gotten really good at being able to play solo so if you were looking to just occupy your time online and have some fun without a linkshell you'd still be good.

Good to hear. Thanks for the replies all. I'm knee deep in star wars atm but maybe at some point in the future I will give this game another go.

I've been looking through the stickies on the site here and I'm finding some information that I know for sure is outdated. Does anybody happen to have a link to any stickies or guides related to leveling camps, crafting, quests and missions that they know is relevant to recent expansions? I'm trying to reeducate myself with up to date info. Thanks again so much!
