Not so important I'd trade my pwn for it, though.

Based on recent posts, and mostly this thread, what kind of shells do you have on Seraph?

Are they mostly event-specific, or do you have mostly shells that are all-inclusive?

I know here on Bismarck, we have mostly all-inclusive shells, where most of the shells participate in most, if not all, endgame activities. I know there's a few (or were) that concentrated mainly on sky, sea, and/or limbus, but I really don't know if they're still around.

I suppose this is mainly geared toward endgame shells, but I'm curious just the same.

Seraph has a handful of all-in-one shells (notably Krew, Apotheosis, BtL, SOUII), but also a lot of a la carte shells that focus on one event and just do really well at that one thing.

Already answered earlier in the thread!

Also, I'm too lazy to sign up for foobar's forums, so the Brosold 8pm est on Wednesday that Mirax mentioned hasn't been added in yet over there (or in the most recent version here).

Anyways, this thread needs more pie.

Yamato is a weird hybrid. I describe us as general endgame, but we're really just a bunch of lazy people that want to do HNM things but don't want to actually camp HNMs. We started out as a sky linkshell, added in some sea, then added in KS99s, Ouryu and Bahamut fights, Einherjar, ZNMs, and most recently SCNMs. Now we just kinda cycle through things until people get tired of one event and then move onto the next thing. So if you want a little slice of endgame pie, but hate camping ****, or work 45 hours a week and can't commit to 24/7 endgame, we're the best option out there.

(I was bad and played hooky from sea tonight because I was caught up in writing my novel.)

This thread makes me feel really good about coming to Bismarck. :D

Inevitable character name changes are the cost of this, of course, but I think that's really the only downside. We knew there'd be server mergers one day, although this is rather sooner than we all expected. But seeing your posts here, it looks like we're coming to a good place. I'm actually looking forward to it.

I know, Bismarck seems so nice! Here's hoping I can get my account active again before the merge so I can be part of day 1 of our new community...we should all totally throw a party in Whitegate. The place will look like a typhoon came through when we're done!

At least we're already getting along unlike some of the other merging servers around here. Midgard + Quetz already seem like they're going at each others' throats and people are already getting popcorn ready for server drama between servers with bigger endgame linkshells like Cerberus + Hades.

We need more people to campaign in Windy zones here.

I'm one of those. I once switched to Sandy for about 10 minutes to get my Iron Ram body and switched right back with a bad taste in my mouth. Iron Ram head I just sucked up and paid the "move along, foreigner" price. Although I have been known to pop over to Grauberg when Windy and the Yags are licking their wounds and taking a break, Windy takes priority.

Fort Karugo-Narugo's my favorite, Meriphataud second. I don't like the Inspirers in Sarutabaruta, and Wuffi doesn't like the Lutenist -ga spam, but I'll fight there too if that's what Windy needs.

Aluus likes men. And Deathsblessing.

Liking men is perfectly acceptable. And much better than liking Tarutaru. Or young Galka . . .

Gam has me confused with Aleuce. I'm one of Bismarck's foremost Mithra chasers actually.

Nice deflection. You get points for that subtlety. As a direct result, I'll roll with it.

Aleuce likes men. And DB.

First of all, to all our new arrivals, Welcome to Bismarck! I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of you people eventually.

Our campaign status, seems to be about the same as yours. San d'Oria seems to generally retain the most territory each week, and most of the good NPCs as well. This seems to be shifting recently, as Windurst has made fast drives, early in each new campaign week. I don't know much about Bastok's situation.

As for our endgame things, I'll leave that to the big guys.

One point of amusement: I guess the gilselling companies are going to have to downsize ^^

And on a final note, if any of you are looking for a friendly, casual/social linkshell, NightfallsFavor is always welcoming new members :)

I want to add my welcome to this too. Hoping it'll be a good thing (overlooking the name fiasco) for both servers. Looking forward to having some new dyna shells to choose from.

If anybody is looking for a social/casual endgame shell look me up.

Other than that Welcome to Bismarck guys!! Hope you enjoy your stay! >^.^<

Well, my Dynamis shell, NoSephiroth, is almost always recruiting. We're not a good shell if you want to upgrade a relic since we're privately funded (and I've still got 2000 coins to go, and a pretty long waiting list), but if you just want free relic with low attendance rules (ours is 1 run every 2 weeks to stay active) we're a perfect fit.
#68 Mar 09 2010 at 6:36 PM Rating: Decent
Nah I'm not interested in a relic weapon. Just want some more relic armor and a fun shell to run with. I'll check out your shell more indepth when I get home on a decent pc (stupid slow work pc). Got questions I wanna ask but I need to wait til I can do a little more research so I don't waste your time asking questions you may have already answered ^.^

If the hrs are right and it works out you'll gain 2 new mithras. My husband plays with me also and he has a plethora of 75 jobs lol. I'll PM you if I have any further questions

Welcome to bismarck :D I actually just posted something our your home forums here on allak welcoming you guys =]

IRON used to do the table for Bismarck years and years ago before it's dissolve, so I for one welcome someone to keep track of who will be where at what time, so it's not a cluster f*ck trying to get into Deathnamis.

Well, I have to say, this thread has made me a bit happier about the merger versus when I realized I'd have to change my name. :) I'm sure we'll get the event schedules figured out. /bow to the LS leaders who will probably be pulling out their hair to figure it out. Thanks for all the "Welcome" messages!
