I'm returning to FFXI after a 3-year Hiatus. I'm starting from scratch here on Bismark. Based on what I've read here on the forums, it seems to be a friendly server. :)
Can anyone suggest a good helpful social LS for a semi-newb?

Hi welcome to the server, the forums don't get checked often here so apologies for the late reply.
You could see if the LS I am in is any good for you, whilst our events are run on GMT, we have a whole bunch of US,EU, Middle East players of all levels. We do some Sky, a few events, there are normally people available to help.
Check my avatar for the URL, sign up for a login and have a look around. I only really get online a couple of nights a week, but there is normally someone about to get you a pearl.
