Nah, not the only person, just most people don't stop by here anymore.
Yea FFXI side of Alla kinda died from what it used to be. Now it's pretty much just welcome back threads, new LS threads, new player threads and the occasional ***-hate topic that one of us oldies starts or necroposts.
They are indeed fun though!
Don't let Gam lie to you though. He's the only one that necro posts anything. Let's just hope that's the only kind of necrophilia going on... :x

heya fear. long time no see bro.
Actually, myself, and my LS are back and kicking. I must say I'm pleased to see all the stuff they gave Red Mage, during my several months hiatus, but slightly peeved that now the gilsellers get away with /tell-ing me advertisements! I've never used my blacklist in the 5+ years I've played XI and now suddenly it's filling up. Nevertheless, the game is now a lot more solo/small party friendly, and I like this, despite the fact that level sync has really bred some majorly lazy/bad players, but those will exist, no matter what the system. It's good to be back in Vana'Diel, good to see a bunch of my old friends are still here, good that the game economy is still somewhat stable, and good that I still know what I'm doing O.O
Well look at that I see they put the return thing is now perm...
I may just restart. Didn't want to have to start over and I left with all that gil sitting there lol.
Might be due for a break from WoW. Maybe a couple paychecks and you'll see me log back in.

Near the bottom right is a link for free trial. It asks you to log in to Fileplanet which is usually a site you can download stuff, but I do not have an account there so I can't proceed further. I honestly don't know if you will be able to download this and then reactivate via that link, but if you have an account you can try it? Also you can go on the FFXI web chat and explain your situation. Maybe they can offer some advice...
