So, I was in this level 62 synched party with this THF Aliukas. Party started kinda crappy, we wre DRK, DRK, THF, COR, RDM, PLD, and were having deaths every few fights. Other DRK bails, we get a DRG to replace, and PLD brings out her BF's 75 rdm to PL. I get bored. I send an invite out to Moghedian, 62 war/sam lfg. Mog's on his/her way, and i then let my party know I have a replacement coming and will leave when they arrive. Aliukas then sends me a tell saying he's going to invite a DRK instead, and that I should tell moghedian not to come out. I tell him to do it himself and disband. He sends moghedian a tell saying that he's invited a DRK instead so he can "Utilize the full effect of Chaos Roll." What a prick.

Tell the party you're going to get a rep so they can tell you if they wanted a DRK instead of a DRG?

You replaced yourself without asking:

1) If the party wanted that particular rep (Rude to party)
2) If the party was planning to keep going after you left (Rude to rep if they weren't)

Then when the leader told you they didn't like the rep you picked, you got an attitude.

Yeah, I can totally see how the leader is the one that was the douche here.

And here I clicked on the thread from the server forum listing expecting some decent drama.

Yea cuz I totally ask everyone in the party if certain jobs are ok before I have a rep come out.... *rollseyes*

I've never had a problem with that before. Frankly, many people are competent enough to find a workable replacement for the party dynamics. Aluus is definitely one of those people.

He's also one of those people who will tell it how it is. Sure his response seems to be a bit snippy and indeed it is, but that's in response to the pt lead deciding not to use his rep.

Well, look, after i invited out my rep, had he gone and told me immediately he'd rather find someone else, that would have been one thing. instead he waited til s/he was in the zone waiting for an invite to tell us he'd gotten a JP drk he didn't even know to replace me. wasting someone's time and money just so you can have a slightly stronger attack buff just seems like ***-hattery to me

I'm gonna have to back this one up, as I witnessed with my own
eyes, first hand, the repercussion of Aliukas' actions.

I live with Moghedian.

The best part of the entire situation was...

Aliukas had the balls to /tell Mog approximately 10 minutes after
telling him that he was not needed, asking Mog if he'd like to
join that very same pt, because there was an opening.

>.>

And THEN said "lol gl" when Mog chose to pass on the "generous offer".

Heh.

He's good. Generally tired alot.

15-20hr shifts for 15 days straight, then 6 days off.
Rinse, repeat.

Other than that horridness, he's all good :p

But then again, that also applies to the OP. His play time is
very limited, so junk like that he doesn't have time for '.';

Especially when I'm on his [rear] beatin' him to Maat's Cap land!
