Which is alot of NiN and that other LS whose name I can't seem to think of right now. Basically the majority of the players that show up in the most searched list on FFXIAH for Bismarck.

To be honest, at this point, I'd probably take advantage of a glitch to get me some gaiters and a novio to fuck around in for a few days before I got banned.

I just heard about this and decided I'd swing by and let the Alla community know that I just pee'd myself a little.

I'm glad that I'm not playing FFXI any longer, but with the exception of a friend or two on that rather expansive list of fuckups, I'm really happy to hear this.

I hope the new generation of players, who apparently play legitimately, get to thoroughly enjoy their experience without dealing with you half-elite douchebags lawl





In short:

Fucking owned lol, good luck being forced into rl.

The exploit enabled players to dupe Nyzul/Salvage/Sandworm drops. For example let's say you went into Nyzul with 6 people, you create 2 parties consisting of 3 members each. Before the NM or whatever is dead, the alliance leader breaks the alliance up and in turn you would get 2 loot pools.

My detailing is probably off a little, but that was the jist of it. The exploit had been out for well over a year when it became public, and as you can see by the list, many people took advantage of it.

Those people who took the chance at duping items must now face the reprocussions with the banstick. Pretty epic change of events overnight if you ask me.

I heard about this Dupe after I already got 4/5 Skadi with 2/3 of the last piece. Now Im 5/5 Skadi the old fashioned way.....Long commitment and hard work.

It sucks wenslydale was banned. Hes in my LS, and we dont even do salvage. He was the only one in his nyzul static that was hit, so no one has any idea why he got the ban stick.

If you're responding to me, Wens co-founded the LS i've been in for more than 3 years.

Yeah it was a fair old chunk of time that this was exploitable for. I know a few people who got banned, some I am indifferent to, others made me quite sad. I guess it's always more fun when it isn't people you know getting banned.

I have a question how can Squenix afford to ban all this people, I mean last time I played a month ago as an experiment I hardly saw anyone knew running around. Aren't they running the risk of pissing their core and losing players when WoW is gaining more and more? I have no stake in either I don't play MMOs anymore so is just a question.

Other LS is Discoid, Aesctaa was leader. Few people on the list are from there.

With the current state of the economy it was only a matter of time before SE was forced to make some cutbacks...
