I haven't been on FFXI in about two years but since the day I left I have been wanting to return for the friends I have missed so. If you remember the name ICURAS could someone find out if a few of my pals are still playing? Like "Bracus" and "Twinkster"
PS. I DO remember those numbers down there alot higher than that... left with blm at 75

I thank you very much for your help! I especially am hoping that Twinkster is still playing... I gave him all my HQ elemental staffs and blm gear... What I really fear about returning is taking the time to build all my gil back up.. My net worth when I quit was well over a billion gil which I am also assuming doesn't mean squat anymore either. Anyway again much thanks!
well, as a consolation, if you still have any raw currency, you're all set, as stuff is a crapload cheaper than 2 years ago. You can completely re-outfit yourself for a fraction of what it cost then.
A quick check on ffxiah.com tells me that it LOOKS like Bracus is still actively playing. His AH activity is as recent as 2 days ago - which is the good news!
The bad news is that it appears Twinkster is no longer active, at least not on Bismarck, his last AH transactions being in May of 2007. So unless he now buys and sells everything through mules it doens't look like you'll be seeing those HQ staves again.... :(

What's up man? This is Lycan(Elvaan-DRG)/Nacyl(Hume-Everything), we were in GG together LONG time ago. Bracus still plays, Twink I believe is Schfity or something now, he plays occasionally. My new character is Instinct, and if you have Icuras still then you're good. Starting over sucks because the game is pretty much dead from the time you remember. I play some, work too much now to be really active and its nights sooo. >.> As far as anyone else there aren't many left from our time on FF. They are working on a new Multi plat MMO (SE), but who knows when that'll be out. My next game I'm waiting on is Aion. Anyway maybe see you in-game. Later.

SO AWSOME... I don't think i still have icarus tho so i will have to start over which gonna suck since i didn't wanna do the promy's again not to mention the hours and hours and days and days i spent leveling but with that experience i will make a better choice for character evidently from some of the threads i have read people don't think the elvaan blms are good as i was but within a week maybe two you will see me reborn and out of retirement BRACUS is the uberest drg i knew probly laugh at the low lvls i will have blah

hey dude this is twink, ya like Instinct said i am back as Schfity i lost my account, i quit about 3 years ago on Twinkster, and came back as Schfity about 8 months ago or so. ya dude the only old people are like me bracus, and now zechz came back, but ya dude what's up?!
