===============================================================

First of all thank you to those who participated last week (click HERE for details on that meeting). It's amazing that we, here at Bismarck, still have an interest in PvP, even if it appears Square doesn't supply incentive to try it.

Our next Brenner (Capture-The-Flag PvP) match up will be on Monday, June 30 @ 9PM EST. Remember that the entrance to Brenner is located at Afdeen - Upper Jeuno (H-9)/(I-9). NO Ballista License is required.

  • There will be two 50k /random drawings at the end of the night.

Remember that Square's involvement with PvP development/promotion is based on us, the players.

It's a shame, theres loads of people I want to stab on the server, but that is like 4am for me, I really hope it take off though, it would be lame if SE have another multi server tournament, and we really sucked at it.

Last week's Brenner was spectacular.

The first two matches I don't think enough people knew what to do, but the 3rd match was completely awesome! I believe it went the full 30 minutes with all kinds of exciting/hilarious deaths.

Unless something IRL stops me, I'll definitely be there again.

I loved Brenner last week it was fun. Although Singular was right not enough people knew what to do. That is why i suggest alternating every other week, going from Brenner to real PvP. Just so that not everyone is lost =) Its also funny you put it on youtube. I hope i can be there again for it, it was fun!

I am inclined to stick with Brenner instead of Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba because a lot of players haven't quested their Ballista Licenses. Also Brenner is a bit more balanced since it doesn't force players to kill in order to score (whm and other non-offensive jobs come to mind).

I reserved the area in Upper Jeuno for Monday 9pm EST. I will bazaar (1 gil) at Whitegate Mog House if you want to get a copy of the Brenner Blue book to participate.

If you obtain a Brenner page you can make copies of it to give to your friends. Hope to see everyone there ^^

You do not need Ballista licences for Diorama Abdhaljs-Ghelsba. And also in uncapped even mages get away from the melees. Remember RDMs can absorb blows like there is no tomorrow. ive seen WHM/RDM's take down melees super easily too. Just because they can not use asuran fists, Penta Thrust, Guillotine, does not mean they have their own gifts. Anyways i just had a suggestion on that. I also suppose because people would find it easier to kill others other then to try to capture the flamme. Then again this is my own thoughts and you never have to consider them, after all you are the leader i just felt an idea to make things bigger ^^. Hope i get to play monday night.
