Trizzoro's post in my other thread got me thinking how much I would really like to get my airship pass.
So if anyone wants to team up to get their rank 5 I'd love to go. Let me know what time would be best for you or when you are free and we'll work something out.
(According to allakhazam, this quest is long and hard, but reading the posts following the guide, most of them did it with only 2 or 3 people, and not very high levels either so I'm thinking allakhazam might have exagerated just a little and it's really not that hard).

From what I have heard form LS members, the Beaudeaux portion sucks a little cause you actually have to beat the two NM's and go back again after talking to the midget in Tenshodo with your two items.
They said Davoi was simple, and Castle Ostrozja (sp?) was a hassle. My buddy (43 RDM) went through the Castle solo, but with the unpredictable behavior of Sneak makes it a real *****. Also, the less people to get aggro in this one, the better. Kinda like 3.3 in Delkfurt's.

My static just did this on Sat. Just 5 of us all lvl 50-51(yeah, some of us are lazy) and there never was any serious danger. Getting aggro in the castle was annoying but nothing unmanagable. Just glad it's done. The only thing that bothered me was in the castle where the BLM (me) needs to test the levers for the door, I kept getting the message "You cannot reach that" or something to that effect. Yes, I'm a taru but I couldn't test the levers. One of the "taller races" had to do it. ???

No, it's just picky. You have to be standing directly in between the two levers to get them to work. I had a similar problem on one of the earlier Windy missions, 3.1 I think it was.

lol I moved all over the place trying to trigger it! Just thought they were singling out the vertically challenged. Made me laugh!
You can solo Davoi and Oztroja (with Oztroja being rather difficult, because you most likely *will* die, since Yagudos have this uncanny ability to walk THROUGH doors). Beadeaux is a little more tricky. I think I remember where the baddies are, but I most certainly can't take them down alone (being a lv 45 Taru WHM). Check the Rank 5 mission here on this site, it's actually pretty decent and will lead you through the depths of Hel....I mean Oztroja rather well. If you want help with Beadeaux, give Yuehunei a Tell sometime. You guys seem to be around my level, so things are going to aggro us deeper in. If any of my LS is on (which is rare) I may be able to get a 52 PLD and a 42 DRK to help us out.

Before we start, set your HP in Jeuno so you can Warp back and give the Taru in the Tenshodo your items, and then I can Teleport-Dem us and we can get back to Beadaux that much easier.

Hmm... bit of bad timing. My linkshell did a rank 5 mission on Saturday. And then did a rank 5 mission again on Sunday for an alliance linkshell we have.
I think we have to go again for a member of our linkshell that had to work this weekend.
Send me a tell in game tonight (after 6pm central) and I'll see if we're putting anything together. If we're not I'd still be willing to go take down the Beaudeux NM's for the items if anyone needs them.

I can help with the Beadeaux NMs. Just get whoever needs them to sit at the zone and I'll go run along and kill the NMs. Davoi is one that you can solo. Oztroja may be a bit difficult depending on what level everyone is. If you can get a PT to do the Oztroja one, I can do the other two.
I've gotten the Beadeux items so far (I just tag along and wait at zone ; ;)
