Hey guys,
I have been reading multiple threads about these guys, but have yet to see one on the server. Who are they? Some mysterious cult? A child prodigy playing multiple accounts at the same time? I am just curious because I read so much about them here and have not once seen them in Jeuno or anywhere else.

I noticed quite a few jerrys on our server, at least 3 at the Sandy AH at one time, once. i don't know what they're trying to pull. Maybe a gil-selling (IRL) scheme, or a guy named jerry with too much money for systems/accounts. Who knows?

I've thought about the one person/many accounts idea, but if it really is, than they're either *really* fast, or *really* bad, because the Jerrys are often in zones halfway across the world from each other. Perhaps a group of RL friends, a dorm or something?
I've partied with the some of the Jerry's on occasion and they aren't really that good lol. But regardless, I'm not really sure what they're deal is . . . but I do think if Vana'diel had it's own "Wonders of the World", the Jerry's would be included :)
Popular "knowledge" on them is that they are all a bunch of friends from China. I have seen them dashing by quite a bit, it's funny, whenever one of them comes into Jeuno, there is always a shout about it.
They typically hang around the Kuzotz region (Korroloka Tunnel, Altepa, Quicksand, etc).

I remeber pting with a lowbe jerryz, I am not sure it was the fact that this was my first time ptign with a jp player but she/he jsut seemed annoying and tryign to pull stuff way to fast. and some of the broken type was hmm yea then again I should be the one to talk about broken type >.> But thats the only time I have really ran in to a jerry or at least interacted with one

I have partied with a Jerry. Actually THE Jerry. 'Jerry' was in my party recently in Qufim. He was the leader. I was hesitant to stay when I realized who was in the party and was the leader, but I just had to find out what it was like to party with a Jerry lol.
He was....not that great. He was the puller and went just a tad too fast before we were ready. Wound up getting killed, immediately went to HP and then disbanded without a word.
It was a very strange experience.
Now.. Jerry is a common name so I wonder if just 'Jerry' is with all the other Jerrys? Or he was just unfortunate enough to have his name chosen for whatever this group is?

The Jerry's are a riddle inside a mystery wrapped inside an enigma. I think they like it that way. ^^
I think we got another group coming... A group of people just passed me in the dunes, all named Zooej-whatever. I did a /sea all on Zooej, and got like 6 of them, all in the dunes, all level 20-21 with no subs. ; ;

Some of the Jerry's (who I call Jerry's kids, btw) speak pretty decent english, others don't. I am not sure if they are gil farmers or friends, or who knows what. I have been in a party with one for like 2 minutes, but he left. They don't bother me, I don't bother them.

I've been mining in Palborough for the past two days and Jerryz's been there the whole time. He just seems to be farming Quadavs to me, but not in a feverish 'farming gil to sell' way, just like any casual player would.

I asked 1 once what was up with all the jerrys and he said it was 1 big family, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters, etc
Has anyone noticed a new crop of jerrys recently? It used to be just Jerry and then an S, X, M, or some other letter. In the last two weeks or so I have also seen Jerryac, Jerryab, and Jerryax. All are low lvl with no sub so they must be new characters. We should be scared, the Jerry's are multiplying and threatening to take over Bismarck!

Basically, the jerries are played by multiple people in a company called LongJoon (sp) in Taiwan. They buy and sell gil for US dollars and for Chinese Dollars, and I would also assume yen. Each jerry is loaded with the maximium amount of gil allowed within the game.
They don't speak very good English either lol.
My source? One of the Jerries themselves...
One day, I asked one at random about the huge amount of Jerries, and after a while he explained a bit of it to me. He also tried to sell me some gil too, yuck.
Why do people buy gil? I have yet to truly understand that...

I wonder if you could have your chat history checked by a GM. IF what you said is true and the Jerry did in fact admit to what they were doing then I would assume that SE would frown upon this and the GM's could do something about it? Just a thought.

Lol, I DID call a GM on them and have my chat list w/ the Jerry read. The GM said he would put the company on "the list" for SE to be concerned about...
