Hello, I'm a returning player that played back when the game was first released looking for a helpful and fun LS to join. I had to start over so I'm still a low level getting the hang of the game again. I'm currently playing a RDM (level 21, desperately trying to find Ghouls that like to drop skulls), but am having a blast playing again with all the new changes they've made.

I will say, I'm planning on being pretty casual, I'm probably not very good anymore (played DRK/WAR when I played before, so healing/support is new to me), but would love to have some fun with people leveling up subjobs, or are new players like myself just looking for people to group up with. I'm very quiet, but I do remember that the best thing about FFXI was the community aspect, so I'm very interested in joining if you're willing to have me :)

Thanks for the reply Aegonn, I'll definitely send you a tell if I'm on around that time.

As for the subjob quest, I managed to solo the worm and apron pretty easily.. just a matter of finding a ghoul :) I know there's plenty in Gusgen, but I'm not quite that high yet. But hey.. that's partially why helpful LS's are so great. Talk to you soon.

Cool. I'll look for you online. I've been quite bored since I stopped playing WoW a few months back so I decided to play FFXI again as it was the first MMO I ever played. Don't worry, I am not a complete n00b. I just feel like one right now since my character has nothing lol

Hi! I'm returning after 5 years or so away (CoP days). I just burned my WHM to 30 and I'm working now on unlocking Chocobo and getting the Carbuncle's Ruby at the moment. I'm fairly casual, a couple of hours some days with the long stretch here and there. I'm still learning about the high-end/end game/technical aspects of the game (mostly xp/party style player before, didn't care much about "special items" or w/e even though I'd play for 6+ hours at a time lol).

I'm wondering if people still play this game? i don't have a strong enough computer for FFXIV so i decided to return to FFXI until that day returns. i used to have a few classes at 75, but i just started from scratch. Those all sound like things I want, and also things that I am. I used to play around the time the game came out, and I'm just getting back in now. It'd be nice to have a linkshell with people who know what's going on.
