Hi hi hi. I stopped playing FFXI back in 2006. I heard this game has really turned into a ghost town, but I also heard that there are still a lot of active players? I'm just wondering if it'll be easy to find parties in the lower level areas like the dunes or the jungles and such, or if I should even bother coming back to this game. I don't wanna feel like I'm playing a single player game here :S

There have been server merges since you left and more on the way. I haven't been anywhere as a lower lvl lately though; the population seems fairly stable and it's pretty easy to solo on most jobs now days so finding a party isn't that needed anymore. Granted, your probably starting over from scratch? If so it might be tough still, with extra boosts to xp lately though, the lower lvl's should be quick to get through.
