Yeah I hit 59 the other day and while I could just lv and not worry about gear, I'd rather have the items that will not only make my job easier, but show I worked for it. I do have Jesters +1, the CHR earrings, only the NQ, and the Corsette +1. Started the opo-opo quest and have 6/10 items, just waiting until I have more time to look for assistance with the 4 rare/ex drops, the worst part, lol.

I was reading how some say the Gleeman's isn't as good as a Corsette +1 if I were to augment to the haste 3%, seen how the drops come off random mobs in 3 zones, but the information doesn't really go into good detail for me. After missing so much time, I fail to understand how augmentation works and when talking to the npc, he doesn't say much. I'll work on this one soon.

Also, took my 79 monk into the grotto, didn't get to camp long, it stinks only being able to play part time anymore due to RL work junk, but I'll get there. I managed to get the legs and hands for AF and would love to get the rest, just seems like most people are interested in endgame and Abyssea to help out with the lower level stuff anymore.

Btw, if anyone wants to join in or help make some gilz, I'm looking to cash in some BCNM 40 runs, KS30 runs, and looking to do some assaults for the first time. I had to just buy a Chiv. Chain for monk due to lack of assistance with shouts and LS asks. Where's those social mission/quest/non endgame shells anymore, anyone do them? I enjoy helping others when I can, just pressed for time and mainly have SUN & MON free anymore.

A quick note about the waist item, I couldn't recall exactly which page showed me this but I did have it written down, the NPC was in Port Jeuno named Squintrox Dryeyes and the guide stated I could obtain and trade 3 items and then add haste 3% to the Corsette +1 making it better than the Gleeman's. After further reading, I see that it requires the 3 mini expansions, which came with the ultimate collection I bought, just have yet to register them yet.


I'm going to read up also on ANNM, so many new things I have over looked and missed, overloading here,lol. Anyways, yeah I'll drop a shout next time I have free time, would your LS have any open slots BTW? Haven't seen anyone with the pearl yet, the one I'm in now is decent, good players, but it's a endgame shell and they are always so busy with events and doing their own thing, not a lot of free time for outsiders.

Ahhh ok then, I misread the situation then, looks like it will be a Gleeman's for me, and the Corsette +1 in the MH for capped events, thanks for clearing that up ^^

TY for the tip, I'll keep that in mind with the quests. On a side note, I'd just like to say ty to all those who took some of their own personal time and helped out on Sunday, It rocked! Was able to get the 4 mob item drops and finish opo-opo crown quest, eagerly waiting lv 65 to use it. Curious though, do many even go through the quest for the item? Seems like a godlike item for a bard with the effects of the pamamas. 50+ HP/MP and technically 14 CHR although it states the -7 still applys, still the 50 HP and 7 CHR is nice addition, unless later on the haste is more important.

I was able to hit lv 61 on Bard, going to spend some time spamming songs for string skill since it's very far behind, approx 77 skill. With me getting closer to max lv, what's a good idea of CHR to look forward to when I need to start thinking of +skill? I see the earrings and the rings with the + to wind, the necklace at 65 comes to mind with the +7 to skill.
