Post-merge reactivationFollow

With the level cap increase I thought I'd give FFXI another go, however much to my dismay none of my old characters from Pandy are available for reactivation as of may/17... I know on the same page it says that all data should be transferred by August or something, but I thought I'd ask here just in case: has anyone else been able to reactivate having deleted his character(s) before the merge with Asura?
