Hello Asura players!

I've not long staarted my Galka MNK on this fine server & thought I'd do a quick intro!

I'm from the UK, on most night around 20:00(GMT) Played FFXI on NA release for about 3 months but never really got going with it.

I come from a background of MMORPGs, played EQ/EQII/WoW mainly & man, is this different!

I've been doing a lot of reading up on the Monk Index 4.0 thread & I've managed to scrap my way up to lvl 11 so far. But now it's getting time to PT up I thought I best make myself know :)
I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions you'll have all seen before but rest assured I do use the search, I just don't know all the terms yet!

Anyway, If you're new and need a bit of company or fancy helping someone learn the ropes - please send a tell & we'll go smack some beasts

Hey, I'm also a returning player. I played the first year it was released but I lost my account info so I'm starting over again. I had a lvl 42 WHM among other jobs. I'm starting again a WHM, and hoping to unlock SMN to play that. I'm a Mithra in Windurst. I'm just looking for a linkshell with friendly players. My character's name is Crazedtoo.

My play-time is pretty sporadic since I'm in college and am working two jobs. But...I'm usually online around 11pm/12am Eastern. Usually for a little over 2-3 hours depending on how much I have to do.

Otherwise I log whenever I'm lucky enough to have free-time.

i am updating while i sleep tonight and should be on (barring any issues)tomorrow afternoon. I am going to join Asura! i have played so i am not completely noob, only noobish... i want to be a ranger and ninja tarutaru. i was actually listening to tracks from this game and chrono trigger on UTUBE and got that good old fashioned feeling again. I want to play my character out this time long term. I know ff14 just came out , but i hear it is an abomination though i had no intention of purchasing it anyway. but hopefully population levels on this server are ok. i would like to join an LS, possibly to help me with young adventurer quests and preliminary tasks (whispers.. and mybe a small gil donation.. *wink*) and to make new lasting friendships. I know this game has been out awhile but it can only die if we quit playing right? anyone willing to give me friendship and some early help? not sure on my name yet but i will log in tomorrow and message anyone in game. thanks!

Before I forget, I have retained quite a bit of knowledge over the years so newbies/noobs feel free to send me tells ingame once i get on. I answer all questions I can or will find someone who can. For now jsut reply to this thread and I will help as best I can. Assuming you fail to find the answer on ZAM. I have never and will never ignore/blacklist anyone who asks a question.

I just started the game up again after a 4-year absence (I played during the first 3 years of the game's life). My char name is Garrlen. I'm currently a level 11 RDM, but quickly climbing. =)

Hell, ANY new players, feel free to hit me up in game, we could play together or whatnot.

What's good everyone. Just got back into the game myself recently and moved my char to Asura. Today I decided to make a LS aimed towards helping new and returning players get back into the game faster than they would solo. It was just created, so it only has 2 other members in it as of now. Although, I'm hoping to expand it with both new/returning players as well as anyone who wants a good social/helpful LS.

As stated, the short term goal of the LS is to help people get back into the game and learn all the new mechanics that have been implemented over the past few years. Speaking in long term, I hope to be able to run events as the shell grows, such as old school end game content like sea, dynamis and such, as well as new school content such as abyssea. Having said that, I want our members to have a relaxed environment and be able to enjoy each others' company with very little pressure or drama. If this sounds like a shell you'd like to be apart of, hit me up (IGN: Royale) in game or even reply on this site. Again, we'll take any levels, any ranks as long as you're dedicated to growth within the shell along with the game.

I'll be coming back too here in the next few days. I've been away a LONG time, haven't touched hardly any of the content in any expansion, and my highest job is my WHM at 40. I'm really looking forward to it, it looks like there are lots of other new/returning players, which is great. I've been making a list all day of places I want to go see again. :D

The idea of a LS for new/returning people sounds great and I'd love to join and help out as I can. Rank 3 dragons and Kazham keys!

Looking for a LS that is fairly active(Not to mooch or anything, but this game seems like I could enjoy it 20 times better if I had some people to talk to lol) I'm on randomly 12PM to 10PM, but easily flexible with set dates.

Probably really nooby but not retarded and learns fast!

Galka - Bastok - looking for a ls for leveling up and grouping and doing older expansion missions . just returned to the game , 75 warrior - 75 paladin , both naked , leveling up either a sam 52 or a drg 68 . iam usually online from 4pm-12PM EST on and off because i cant find a party. hope this helps

To anyone returning/starting out and wishing to join a newb-friendly LS, you're in luck. Some of our members who joined when I made the shell a couple weeks ago are already getting their adv. job quests done and getting out of the lowbie areas. However, we still have quite a few members that are still leveling in the dunes, as well as players who are willing to lvl sync down to that level. As for members who are lvl 50+, I will personally be glad to help you with leveling, AF armor, quests, missions, skilling up, etc. If you're interested in joining, send a /tell to me (Royale) in game. If I'm not on, you can also try to look up either Requiiem or Commy for a pearl.

Returning player here. I have a 30 WAR / 24 PLD and several lower level jobs that I'd love to duo/party with. Until then I've been playing around with BST (was level 1 yesterday now level 10 :) )

I'd also love to find an active link shell, especially if there are still players leveling on up.
