When I try to hit Tor.zam.com, it returns a host not found message.

I'm guessing it's gone because the board was dead?

That's annoying, because it was the only palatable skin...

It really was. I mean, it wasn't even a matter of splitting hairs. It was easy to read everything, it didn't hurt your eyeballs, it had a decent color palette in general.

Dear admins, if we could get that exact color palette in ANY other game, I'd be very happy...

I'm using the FFXIV skin in the meantime.

Or just a site redesign to make it look good instead of workable. There's a lot to gain for ZAM in the visual department.

That would cost money, though.

I'd like to see the money I spend on premium go to a good cause.

And for all I care they could get rid of all the different skins and just have 1 that's genuinely good and pleasant to look at.

I always thought they could have gone with a two-skin option, one light one dark.

It still confuses me that they can't implement a system that lets you use any skin on any site. I mean, I can access all of the pages anyway... Now I just can't do it from tor.zam.com/whatever

I mean, I DO get it. I just think it's a really weird system. I mean, is wow.allakhazam.com not just a forwarding address? And if not, why not?

Works for me, there could be Star Wars like light side vs dark side arguments even with that idea. A nice white & blue vs dark grey & red

What's really annoying is that to get to Zam, I still type "tor" in the bar out of habit.

I use chrome and I always click on the little class forum icon and it brings me to the host not found page.

And every time I do it I reinforce it's placement in the top sites.

But I can't bring myself to remove it...

I still miss the old everquest (i think) skin that went away forever when Alla started being Zam. Using the base Zam.com one that isn't awful right now, but I agree there's a lot to be desired on this forums in regards to presentation.

everquest.allakhazam.com gives you black text on light tan background. So, yeah, the EQ skin is still a thing.Smiley: schooled

That's not the one I'm talking about, so maybe it wasn't the everquest skin. I just know that it was the main allakhazam.com skin for ever until the switch to Zam. I might be able to find a screen shot somewhere that illustrates it. The new Zam.com skin is ok, I just miss that one.
