They need to find a way to properly monetize it. There's a mobile version of the site but it's only available to premium users since it doesn't have ads on it. I don't know what a year's worth of premium runs these days ($15?) but I don't know if the demand would be there for a $15+ app. Unless you want an app with ads in it.
This site is all sorts of weird flaky on every Android browser I've tried it with but there doesn't seem to be any priority on doing anything about it.

I can see the site on my iPhone with ads. It's a little annoying, especially if I want to quote only part of a post, as the little keypad on my iPhone doesn't have handy things like arrow keys to move around and a mouse, but it's doable. Edited, Mar 9th 2013 5:32pm by Belkira
